We arrived for Christmas and the host left a mini light up tree for us. This home had everything to make our two week stay feel like home. The resort has a ton of amenities and the location to the WDW parks was 20 minutes. Thank you so much!

Good host but the place was a bit outdated

Host was good. No issues to report. The place was in a good spot, clean but outdated The bed needs to be replaced, the tub is too big to fill with hot water, the dryer didn’t dry the first time and some other odds and ends. Had a bit of an issue with management of the property but nothing to do with the host or the unit. Everything to do with the front desk and they miscommunication.

Ten day stay

The Bahama Bay property was beautiful! The condo unit was perfect for our needs. It was a ground floor unit which my husband needed being handicapped. It was also a ten minute drive to my daughter’s apartment, which was ideal. Close to restaurants was another plus! One down side, both tv’s in the bedroom did not work. We tried changing the batteries, but they still did not work. Not a huge deal, was able to catch up on my reading. We had a wonderful stay and thank you for sharing your home with us!

Amazing Location

Property was well maintained by owner and atmosphere was peaceful. Location of Property was ideal. Easy access to many attractions. Property point of Contact was very accessible. Recommend to others and will stay again.

Fantastic

Fantastic Property in literally the best location. We were there for a cheerleading Competition and it was so central to everywhere we needed to be. We didn’t use the resort in terms of pool and restaurant but purely because we just didn’t have the time. We would 100% book again x

Awesome time!

The unit was much nicer than the pictures showed and was located on the 1st floor close to the pool & splash pad which was great with kids. Very laid back and not crowded at all which was surprising. Everyone had a great time and we would definitely stay again!

Meaningless rules trump common sense

1) When we arrived there was no dish soap, or dishwasher detergent, even though the online listing advertises these items to be there. When I asked the host about it, all I got was a curt answer. Not a big deal, but an apology would’ve sounded a lot nicer. 2) it would have saved us a lot of time if we would’ve been allowed to bring a trailer onto the property for the last night before our departure. This seemed to be a simple request since there was an abundance of unused parking available on the property. We asked the gate guard who referred us to the front desk. We asked at the front desk and were told to speak to the manager. When we finally got to speak to the manager, he told us there were absolutely strict rules not to allow trailer parking on the property. This raises two questions: If such a strict rule exists, why were we given the runaround instead of being told by the gate guard? Why inconvenience paying guests by imposing an inflexible rule, which has no justification under the circumstances, instead of applying common sense?

Medical Emergency Shortened Stay

My husband and I (both in our 70s) found this place ideal until a medical emergency required a hasty departure. Angele was easy to communicate with and even checked on hubby’s health a couple of weeks later. She attended to a problem we had with the fridge immediately. This was a last minute booking because our first booking was cancelled by the owner of a different house. Angele expedited cleaning so we could check in a little early. Recommend you have a car unless you intend to spend the whole time in the resort or shuttle to parks.

Exactly what we needed

I traveled with my elderly parents and the location was perfect. Everything was clean and we had a wonderful time. The patio area was perfect for our morning coffee. Overall a great stay and we look forward to returning.

Very clean property. We loved having a washer and dryer, the extra amenities for our baby (high chair, pack n play) and the kids had fun at the resort splash pad and pools.

Beautiful unit!

Nicely appointed and comfortable. Unit needed some minor repairs which the host was going to do upon checkout. Resort amenities could use some improvements. Some pool and beach furniture needed replacement. The grounds were beautiful. Good security. Limited hours of bar and restaurants due to late season. Foot traffic from unit above was bothersome. Close to restaurants but away from Disney congestion. We would recommend this property and unit.

Stranded and Frustrated...

Long post....I booked this property a month in advance for our Disney vacation, and the property owner was very responsive and communicated with me prior to my arrival and while my family and I were en route to the rental. Once we arrived, we discovered that the door code that was provided to us was incorrect and we couldn't access the unit. I texted the property owner three times and left two voice messages, but suddenly she was nonresponsive. I spent an hour trying the door code and trying to reach the owner, and then an additional three hours on the phone with Vrbo trying to sort through this fiasco. After traveling seven hours to reach this destination, we were filled with fear that we would be sleeping in our car for the night! Vrbo was very responsive, and after failing to reach the property owner themselves, Vrbo declared us as stranded travelers and processed a claim to refund us for the rental. Vrbo instructed us to find a hotel for the night, and assured us they would reimburse us for the cost. Fortunately, Vrbo also found us a replacement rental that we could check into the following day. Now... After we were asleep in the hotel, the missing property owner called AND texted me at 2am - seven hours after my texts and calls to her - wanting us to "proceed to the rental." 🤯 Apparently, the maid had changed the door code... Since we were finally settled in our hotel for the night, it was my turn to ignore calls and texts! I contacted Vrbo again in the morning, and they advised me that a claim had already been processed for the refund on the first rental, and that we needed to proceed to check into the new rental instead. Vrbo saved our vacation! I waited almost a month after this ordeal to post this review, because I was really angry and didn't want to be negative towards the property owner. I am sure that the original property would have been nice, but I can't get past the fact that the owner just disappeared and left us high and dry. This experience left me and my family extremely stressed and frustrated. If you decide to book this unit, please be sure to do so through Vrbo or a similar a service so you will be protected should anything go wrong.

Wonderful Home

We had a lovely stay. The home came fully equipped with everything we needed. Comfortable Beds and recliner sofas were an absolutely dream after long days at the park. We had plenty of towels, crockery and cutlery for our family of 6. The pools and splash park around the complex were great for all the kiddies. I used the spa 'Cenote' in the main club house (additional cost depends on treatment) for a well needed manicure and it was excellent. The journey to the parks was around 35/40 minutes but we were here at spring break so a few more cars on the road probably cost us the extra 10. We wouldn't hesitate to book here again for any future trips.
