Overall, the house was nice and the resort itself was beautiful, and we enjoyed our stay. However, for what we spent for four nights, I expected a little more attention to detail and better preparation for guests.Of the six bathrooms, a few didn’t have any toilet paper at all, while others only had partial rolls left. We contacted the host, and the supplies were brought the next day, which we appreciated, but these are basic necessities that should have been stocked before guests arrived. The body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in the showers were also empty.There were broken cabinet doors in the king-size bedroom, no cleaning supplies available for us to clean up after ourselves, and visible dust on the light fixtures above the dining table. The house could have been cleaned more thoroughly before our arrival.While the property itself was nice and the resort was enjoyable, for the price we paid, I expected a cleaner, better-maintained home with basic amenities ready for use. With more attention to housekeeping, maintenance, and guest preparation, this could have been a much better experience.
