Welcome to one of the best condos along the Gulf, Lighthouse on the Bay. This tropical paradise sits on the Bay overlooking Terry Cove. This unit, #2110, is pet friendly and sits on the ground floor. The unit is conveniently located near the lobby and pet areas for easy access to key spots.
FEATURES:
Lighthouse on the Bay offers a wealth of amenities other resorts wish they had! Float along the Lazy River or spend the day lounging by the pool. The little ones will love the Kiddie Pool. After a day of fun and sun, cook out in the barbecue area and watch the boats come into the Marina. Fish off the dock featuring a cleaning station right on the dock, enjoy the beach area in front of building, or just read in the "Quiet Area" located right off the beach area. The complex also has a heated indoor pool, two hot tubs, and a state of the art Fitness Center coupled with a Sauna and shower. This unit has smart TV's in each bedroom and the living room; pull up your favorite shows and enjoy! Easily connect to the free Wi-Fi with all of your own devices in case you don't want to watch tv.
MASTER BEDROOM:
The master bedroom has a king size bed. Enjoy the tv with Smart functionality through DirecTV; cable is also provided through DirecTV so you will always have something you want to watch. A closet stocked with hangars provides a great place to hang up all of your clothes and keep your luggage out of sight. A dresser provides extra storage for clothes is you like to pack heavily. Enjoy a private bathroom connected directly to the bedroom.
MASTER BATH:
Enjoy the large vanity area with a large mirror. Double sinks allow multiple people to get ready at the same time without tripping over each other. Plenty of cabinet space for storing all of your bathroom essentials. Enjoy the walk in shower stall or take a comfy bath in the jetted tub!
GUEST BEDROOM:
The guest bedroom features a Queen bed and private TV with smart functionality through DirectTV. A private closet allows you to hang up your clothes and store your luggage away safely. Plenty of electrical outlets so you can plug in and charge all of your daily devices.
GUEST BATH:
This bath features a shower/tub combo unit that is well lit from the light located directly in the shower. The large mirror and vanity space allow for easy getting ready in the morning and winding down at night. Blow dryer is located right by the vanity, so get that perfect hair for the day!
LIVING AREA:
The living room offers a queen sleeper sofa and there is sitting for 6 at the dining table. Enjoy the large couch and recliner situated around the TV. Ceiling to floor glass door and windows allow you to always have an eye on the beautiful scenery. A TV with cable provides an excellent distraction if the weather isn't cooperating in the moment. For when the weather is nice, enjoy the large balcony with great seating options for a nice and relaxing time. Located in the living room, a wet bar offers a free standing ice machine.
KITCHEN:
The kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking needs. A large fridge has plenty of storage for food and drinks, and the freezer is large enough to stay stocked up on what you need to stay cold. An ice maker is located in the freezer, and there is a spot to get water and ice directly on the large French style doors of the fridge. A microwave, dishwasher, and oven with a glass stovetop allow you to get your chef on. Both a Keurig and a regular drip coffee machine is available for you to use. I attempt to keep disposable filters in stock for you to use. You will need to bring your own coffee. Also available for your use is a toaster, blender, can opener, pots and pans galore, baking sheets, and a full set of utensils and drinkware.
SURROUNDING AREA:
Located right at the condo, enjoy the fishing dock that features a complete cleaning station right at the end. Save time cleaning your fish all while you keep on fishing. Maybe you'll catch enough for the whole family to eat!
Boat slips are available to rent on a first come first serve basis. Contact me to check and see if there's a slip available for your dates and I can get that reserved for you! I also have trailer parking located about half a mile down the road from the condo.
Lighthouse on the Bay is located about 4 miles from the Wharf which offers excellent shopping, movie theater, and a great outdoor concert venue. The Orange Beach Golf Center is located 3.5 miles away on the way to the Wharf, so you're nice and close if you want to go get a round in while you're on vacation. The Orange Beach Waterfront Park is located right by the condo and offers a complete playground if you have kids that would want to go play. There is also the Coastal Arts Center located right in the park. A beautiful Public Library is located right next to the park.
For anyone up for a little bit of a drive, you can head up to Foley. Foley, AL, has great destinations to spend your entire day enjoying including the Tanger Outlet mall, featuring dozens of premiere shops and restaurants, and OWA - an all inclusive destination featuring shopping, dining, and entertainment. Entertainment includes a large arcade (often featuring gaming tournaments), a stage often featuring comedy shows and concerts, an amusement park featuring a full size roller coaster, and an indoor waterpark!
***Parking is purchased upon arrival and cost $55 per car. Reservations longer than 30 days will require an additional parking pass to be purchased for each car every 30 days. Wristbands are required to be worn while on the property.***
*** Small and Medium Dogs are Welcome. I do ask that you let me know the type, the age, and the size of your dogs. The complex will require an additional fee of $250/dog as well with $100/dog refunded after their leash lead is returned. This is separate from the pet fee charged here on VRBO which is my personal pet fee***

Minimum age to book: 25 - a person meeting the minimum age is required to stay for the entire reservation
Not Allowed:
- No parties or events
- No smoking
- No illegal substances or activities
Pets:
- No cats are allowed
- Dogs up to 50lbs are allowed. You are allowed to bring up to 2 dogs.
- We have our own personal pet fee. That fee is $100 - it covers both dogs and is nonrefundable.
- The complex has its own pet fee. Their fee is $250/dog but will refund $100/dog upon departure as long as no issues occur.
Cleaning:
- Please do not leave the property a mess. You will get charged for any excessive mess or smells left in the property.
- Please take out the trash before your departure
- Please wash all dirty dishes
- DO NOT wash any dirty towels or bedding. Leave towels in the bathroom. You do not need to strip any beds.
Make sure front door is closed and locked upon departure.
Do not share door codes with anyone outside of your party.
Please set thermostat to 76F for spring/summer/fall (AC On) and 68F for winter (Heat On)
Parking:
- Parking is purchased directly from the condo complex upon arrival. Passes are good for 30 days; additional passes will be required to be purchased for longer stays. You will purchase parking from the front desk during check in.
Boats:
- There are boat slips available for rent at this complex on a first-come-first-serve basis. Contact us about the interest of bringing a boat. We will contact the HOA to organize the slip rental.
- Once a boat slip is reserved, we will charge you an additional fee covering the boat slip cost. We will also include trailer parking in that cost unless notified that no trailer parking is needed.
- There is no trailer parking at the condo. Trailer parking is located just down the road, less than a mile from the condo.
- There is no boat launch at the condo. Renters will have to use one of the public boat launches located in Orange Beach.
Damages:
- Look around the unit upon check-in and note any damages. Let us know about anything you find immediately. You will be held accountable for any damages found following your departure if we were not notified of the damage by you upon your arrival.
- Please notify us of any damage that occurs during your stay. Accidents happen and we understand that. We may have to charge you for the damage depending on the cost and damage caused.
- Any missing items will be charged to guests
Emergencies:
There is no dedicated overnight emergency contact. If an emergency happens, leave us a message. We might respond then. If not, then we will get back in touch with you first thing in the morning.
Maintenance:
- Inform us of any maintenance issues that happen during your stay. We will be out or have someone come out as soon as possible depending on the severity of the issue. It might take a day or two if the issue is minor.
- You do not need to be present for us to get in and perform maintenance.
Daily Maid Service:
- There is no daily maid service
- Towels and bed linens are freshly washed and changed out before each reservation
- An additional cleaning service may be scheduled for longer stays. You will be charged an extra fee for the service.
Hurricane Policy:
- No refunds will be given for tropical storms or hurricanes unless the National Weather Service or the city of Gulf Shores issues a mandatory evacuation
- If an evacuation order is given, any unused portion of rental payment from currently registered guest will be refunded.
- If a Hurricane Warning is in effect, any unused portion of rental payment of a guest that is scheduled to arrive and wishes to shorten their stay and check in after
