Waterfront location, spectacular southern views, contemporary design.... Doe Bay Getaway is perched on the eastern point enclosing Doe Bay. Built in 2017 with new furnishings just added and a new hot tub just installed, the Orcas Island vacation rental experience doesn't get any better. Two bedrooms and three bathrooms plus a chef's kitchen provides an excellent choice for your vacation stay. Did we mention the view?!

Built literally within feet of the shoreline, this two story contemporary home enjoys a downstairs deck across the entire waterfront side, including the new hot tub on its own deck extension. Imagine you and your group enjoying the commanding view from this wonderful new HotSprings hot tub. On the deck you will find a number of very comfortable deck chairs, for taking in the view while sipping a glass of wine.

Inside, the first floor uses its "great room" concept for maximum fun and communication, with the very comfortable living room sectional seating area taking full advantage of the view and fireplace. Toward the rear of the room is the chef's kitchen with professional grade five burner gas stove and lots of countertop for use in preparing your feast. The deep stainless sink is located in the large island with four bar stools for other guests to communicate with the chef while doing prep work.

The main floor bedroom provides a luxury-mattress queen bed with hotel grade linens for your sleeping comfort. It has a wide open southern water view, wonderful sun exposure and double doors directly to the waterside deck. This bedroom is next to a large bathroom with an enormous walk-in shower.

Upstairs guests will find the master bedroom, also with unobstructed southern views and small second story enclosed outside deck. The master bedroom provides a wonderful king bed with luxury mattress and linens. The ensuite master bath provides a deep soaking tub and a large glass enclosed walk-in shower. This luxury suite is truly over the top in what it provides. The details in the design of this home are amazing! You will not be disappointed. There is also another full bathroom with combo bath and shower.

To sum up Doe Bay Getaway, Orcas Island vacation rental homes simply do not get any better. The attention to detail along with all of the amazing amenities and location, are what makes this home so special. Charming Doe Bay Resort is a short walk away with all of its dining and other fun attributes. Moran State Park is about a fifteen minute drive with the popular Cascade Lake and its summer time freshwater swimming and trails galore..

This is a beautiful setting, big picture windows to enjoy the water views and sunset. The home was well decorated, extremely clean and stocked with any item you need. The deck and grill added to our enjoyment. Kyle the hostess was a joy to communicate with, her quick response to any questions is greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this spot for a wonderful vacation.

Absolutely Breathtaking

We loved staying here so much. The views are awe-inspiring. There are other cottages nearby but most were not occupied when we were there, so it really felt like a secluded get away. The hot tub is incredible, the kitchen is well appointed and the house is very comfortable. Would love to stay here again! Oh, and it's a short stroll to the Doe Bay Cafe, where we had a delicious meal one evening.

Spring break magic

This is a wonderful property with a stunning view. House was well suited to our family. Kitchen was very well stocked, everything in the house was ship-shape. We LOVE this location and enjoyed sitting on the lower deck and back porch in the afternoon, watching the water, birds, seals.

The house was beautiful. The views were astounding from both house and decks. Saw orcas right from the deck. Had a couple minor maintenance issues that someone came out for same day. Beds were very comfy. Only issue was few screens and so minor compared to the beauty and comfort of the place. Moran state park was close and so beautiful. We walked to doe bay resort and heard the most amazing live music around the fire pit. Truly a magical place and time. Loved it.

Wonderful place on the water

The house was perfect for our stay with 3 children and 4 adults (2 families). It is right on the water and the views of the sea and surrounding islands from many rooms cannot be beat. The house is very well stocked for cooking, has many games for people of all ages, beds are comfortable, and many little details were thoughtfully considered in the furnishing and stocking of the house for our stay. The hot tub was dreamy. One downside was that the oven was not working while we were there, so we did not have the ability to bake or roast any foods, which was kind of a problem for a winter stay when we needed to cook meals indoors and the restaurants were mostly closed. I’m sure this issue will be resolved quickly for the next guests. The checkout time is also rather early. All in all, we cannot wait to return for a longer stay.

Paradise

This house is in an incredible, isolated location a short walk from the Doe Bay Resort, with stunning views you'll want to stay and look at all day. House was well-stocked and immaculately clean, with comfortable beds and ample storage. Perfect for our family of five. We really enjoyed our stay here. I should mention that most of the house's water-facing side has no window coverings. Including the living room, the master bedroom and bathroom (bath, shower, sinks). The master toilet has its own little room with a door that closes, and the downstairs bedroom has curtains. You soon learn just how isolated this little stretch of water is. No one could come by and see in unless they're on the house's property, but it took me a day to get used to it, and I know some people would appreciate knowing about it beforehand. We will absolutely be booking here again in the near future. Just a wonderful place!

You can lay in bed in two of the rooms and whale watch from bed. We watched the sunrise from the hot tub. The one and only recommendation is extra towels for hot tub. Highly highly recommend this house!

The space was perfect for a family of four with room to spare. The bee products provided were a wonderful touch.Basically one of the best rentals we have stayed in. Highly recommend for friend groups, families with older kids, or couples. So much beautiful hiking nearby. We saw otters, seals, so many deer, and even a peacock! Serene and so relaxing. Perfect getaway where it’s easy to stay safe away from others and also enjoy all the beautiful nature.

Wonderful Getaway

Amazing location and view! There was ample room for our family of 5 and the interior was nicely updated. We were lucky to see sea lions and many deer from the property. Hot tub was great and we took advantage of the stellar food at the Doe Bay Cafe and Buck Bay Shellfish Farm. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing, scenic time on Orcas.
