"Hot breakfast was disappointing. It had been left standing so was rubbery and dry. I think the scrambled eggs might be powdered so they weren't nice. Property is nice. Good carparking but expensive even with discount. Location is good but is a 15 min walk. Weather was great when we went so it was no bother."

"We stayed at Dorian for one night only, but we wish it was forever! The place was beyond our expectations and felt so at home and our room was so cozy with the best view ever. Our breakfast was delicious and the staff was so friendly and helpful. We will come back to Bath in the future and will stay no where else. "

"Lovely stay from start to finish. There’s a nice lobby with refreshments all day and attractive artwork. The rooms are clean with comfortable, updated furnishings and much-appreciated AC. We also had a very nice bath room. The hotel was quiet both inside and out. Breakfast was excellent— choices included full English, varied eggs Benedict, and a buffet of yogurt, granola, cereals, assorted pastries, etc. Breakfast servers were very welcoming and efficient. "Francis Hotel Bath is currently undergoing some refurbishment so unfortunately there was no lift to the third floor. The hotel warned us of the on-going work before our arrival which was very much appreciated. The staff made us feel very welcome and I very much appreciated the facilities provided in the bedroom. It was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay."

"Really lovely and unique hotel. Clean room. However, we were in an outside room that was between the restaurant and outside bar area. It was very loud to the point we couldn't sit and watch TV. At one point a large group were just stood outside the door shouting and yelling. Gorgeous breakfast on the first morning but the second seemed to be understaffed and we had to keep asking for things. And the eggs were barely cooked! Great location. "
