"The whole hotel is super spotless. The rooms are beautiful fresh and clean. The food is delicious and the staff at the woodpecker hotel they are very professional and very well trained in good customer service."

"The area is very peaceful and quiet. The staff is very helpful, helped us find a couple things locally as needed, however, we stayed 10 days and they only cleaned once. The toilet is leaking and the wall leaked when it rained. I extended my stay and they wanted cash not for me to use credit card.. "

Have stayed 2 years in a row and will return. The rooms are large and accommodating with private balcony overlooking the gorgeous pool and striking green scenery. I found nothing I wanted or needed that wasn’t there. Outstanding!"

"Quite a nice place for the price. Big room with a balcony, good restaurant, minutes from the beach. Different types of outlets in the room so you don’t need a converter. Male staff members trying to chat you up are very annoying, so maybe not the most ideal for solo female travelers. "
