"Lovely hotel room, nice furnishings and decor. Staff were very helpful at breakfast with gluten free options being taken care of. Hotel building itself was stunning - especially bar and restaurant. "

"The manager Anna couldn’t have been nicer. She greeted us with a cup of tea and biscuits and allowed us to check-in early and was very helpful with suggestions of things to do in the city. Rooms were comfortable and quiet and included on-site free parking. Location just a short walk into the centre. Breakfast also very good with lots of options. "

"Goid comfy bed in a nice room we were upgraded without extra cost. Wifi a bit patchy when the hotel was busy. No problem at all parking although of course there is the extra cost. Good location for central Durham"

"There were several family members who stayed her for a family reunion and it was perfect. Caitlin was a lovely lady who looked after us she was extremely kind and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The rest of the staff were just as nice and friendly. The meals were great and huge, it was a shame that we couldn't have stayed longer to try one of there roast dinners. The rooms were spotless and very well kept. If we needed extras for our rooms we only needed to ask. We would definitely stay...

"Overall everything was good, our only issue was after being there for a few days we noticed the toaster was full of crumbs, obviously not been emptied for quite some time, and the oven tray had not been cleaned after it had been used. We hadn’t met the owner, so decided it was easier just to clean them both before using them. On the hole, everything else was excellent. "Très bon rapport qualité-prix. L’hôtel offre une grande flexibilité pour l’installation, même en cas d’arrivée tardive, ce qui est très appréciable. La chambre était propre, le lit spacieux et confortable, parfait pour passer une bonne nuit. Pour le tarif proposé, la prestation est vraiment satisfaisante et répond pleinement aux attentes."
