Winter Birthday Celebration

We were looking for a special way to celebrate my grandsons 3rd birthday in the cold winter month of January. This home provided a wonderful location for all of us to enjoy. It's spacious living area provided plenty of room for all. We enjoyed the warm indoor pool and outdoor sledding! It was a great time.

Beautiful private home inside and out

This home accommodated our group of friends exceptionally well! The open floor plan allowed for everyone to hang out together in the kitchen or living room and play games all together. The porch was fantastic to spend time outside and the fire pit was conveniently located. All in all, it was a perfect stay!

We have been to Old Forge before but this was our first stay in this beatiful home recommended by a friend. It didn't disappoint. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen has anything you need and then some. The pool is most definitely an added bonus. Heidi is awesome and promptly responsive to questions or needs. Will be staying here again for sure

Great stay at a great place!

We stayed for 5 days/4 nights in April - weather started off chilly and wet - with rain and even some light snow one day - but turned sunny late in the week. We loved the house and especially enjoyed the indoor pool. Beautiful area with lots of wildlife conveniently located next to a small town and lots of hiking. Lots of attractions/businesses were not open, though, but we knew that going in since it was "off season". Property manager was attentive and even went out of her way to help us out with a couple things. Above and beyond! Would certainly stay again, if we get the opportunity.

Awesome place to stay

This house is amazing and obviously the indoor pool in the winter is what drew us in, but what made the stay was how nice and attentive the property manager, Heidi, was to our needs. We have stayed in Old Forge a couple times and this was by far our best experience. It's a great place for family or friends, close to town, the beds are nice, and you can park in the garage in the winter. Can't beat this place.

Exactly what we needed!

This was our third time staying at Deer Meadows and it never disappoints! Everything is so clean and neat and tidy! My husband and I have 6 kids plus a few spouses and we all found things to keep us occupied a favorite of course was the pool area and this time around there were pool toys which the kids enjoyed immensely while the kids watched TV in the evenings the adults gathered in the big kitchen and enjoyed playing cards and chatting our 3 day trip went by fast unfortunately as it was a winter trip a lot of the local stores were not open but old forge hardware is a total most stop and see! Property manager Heidi was awesome she answered all my questions and made us feel very welcomed by having some snacks ready for us we will be back thanks again for renting us a great property

Stunning House in the Perfect Location

What a trip! We had planned this trip for months in hopes of snow for snowmobiling. We had been bitten with bad luck before, and OF without snow and with kids is not super exciting. When we found this house, we knew we would be fine with or without snow. Kids could be in the pool, adults could pretend it was the summer... etc. Luckily, we got snow the weekend before arrival and we got to ride the trails the whole time. Back to the house, it's a stunner, very nice location on top of a hill, with what can only be described as domesticated deer. They pretty much greet you at the property and aren't very scared. We had plenty of room for 2 trucks with snowmobile trailers and a car. We did have to back the 22ft trailer up the hill so we didn't have to back it down when we left, but not an issue. Once inside you are greeted with a heated garage, then a nice laundry room / mud room for gear and the unmistakable smell of a pool! The pool is right there off the mud room and then also accessible from sliding glass doors in the kitchen. The layout really is fantastic. 99% of our time was spent in the kitchen or right through the doors on the teak deck of the pool area. The pool itself is 83 degrees and so is the air in the pool room. All the towels, toys, bluetooth speaker are all laid out and easy to use. The bedrooms are huge, the bathrooms are plentiful, and the living room is comfy minus the recliner which tried to catapult us out of it (must have a broken spring, but it was funny to see when some new victim sat in it). All in all, the house is a perfect rental for anyone visiting OF winter or summer. As for the non-house things, the communication was 10 out of 5 :), honestly Heidi (property manager) was amazing. She actually did something most people don't do any more... she picked up the phone and called us the day before. She informed us they had just swapped out pool pumps and just wanted to let us know. She didn't have to be this transparent, but knew we had kids and said that if there were any problems, let her know ASAP. While there we had a minor issue with the well pump and losing water for an evening. She helped us through that and we were able to get through the night until a repairperson came early next morning. Again, great communication, things break, but she was quick to fix. All in all, an amazing property we will rent again!

Perfect family house

I rented this house for a snow mobile weekend that I knew we would need to occupy our kids as well. The pool was so much fun for them and the house was set up well for multiple families. We would love to return again in the future.

Gorgeous Property

The kids said the pool was the most fun they have ever had. Gorgeous setting for the house, easy to access and well stocked. Large spacious bedrooms and kitchen. Great communication with host and will definitely be staying here again.

Great stay in the ADK

Had a great time at this rental. Been coming to Old Forge for several years and have rented many properties. This property was very nice and clean. Pool was good. Needed some maintenance due to it being salt water and was getting a little slimmy. Property manager was great and responded right away to help solve the issue. Beds were also comfortable (many rentals in the area do not have great mattresses or pillows).
