"After the hustle and bustle of London, we loved walking into the Lygon Arms which was quaint and full of charm. The common areas of the Inn were very old world English and provided the charm we were hoping for. The rooms while equally charming had modern conveniences like a heated towel rack, blow dryer and the new shower/tub area, and a nice spa and pool. I recommend booking your spa treatment a week before you arrive. The location of the Lygon Arms provided a good point to start our tour thru...

"Lovely place to stay, very cosy and inviting. The rooms are excellent and represent really good value for money. Because we stayed on a Sunday evening, it was a slightly reduced menu and a couple of things weren't available, but what we did have was really good. Breakfast is fab, all local proce and well cooked. It is our 3rd time here and I would definitely recommend it."

"We were late but welcomed by the lovely staff at the College Arms, which I understand are under new management recently. The room I stayed is was good and had everything I needed for the 2 nights I was there. We had breakfast in the morning (which was spot on) I cannot fault any part of it, best part was the bacon for me, or the sausages. Both were great. And throughout my stay the staff were lovely, I would happily stay again. "

"Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. It was an easy walk to & from the train station. At first, my husvand & I were afraid it wasn't for us because on our first day, we found it difficult to navigate the narrow hallways, mutiple fire doors & several sets of stairs with our suitcases in order to get to our room on the 2nd floor (equivalent to the 3rd fl. in the US). "Wonderful 2 night stay, accomodated us when needed to rearrange dates of our booking. Hotel room was very clean and comfortable with lovely details such as complimentry water and homemade cookies in room. Ate dinner in restaurant, lovely decor and the food was of lovely quality and big portions. Would recommend."

"Was not sure what to expect, but once we arrived was blown away. the service from the minute we arrived to when we checked out was amazing. The quality of the food was something you expect to find in top restaurants. Pub style garden with lots of comfy seating and class. Location was perfect, we will 100% be going back. "
