"What an amazing place to stay in New Zealand. It is closely situated in the middle of a bunch of great destinations. Shona and David were excellent hosts. I would absolutely stay with them again. Best, Kristen and Edward"

"Waking up to misty mountains in the distance was a way to start to the day. The animal friends in the yard was a bonus. It’s a cute, quiet place which allows you to relax and enjoy the world around you."

"Lovely property, friendly and accommodating staff. We stayed at the Rob Waddell Lodge which is a great place for large families such as ours. Amazing views of the lake and very well equipped with everything. Will definitely return and recommend this place to others. "

"We were booked in for the guesthouse but when we got here really wanted to stay multiple nights and were given the option to move into a wing of the homestead at the same rate which was a generous option -- Frances and Julian are wonderful. "
