This was not as advertised at all. Nothing like the pictures online. Check-in was amazing. The bed looks nothing like online and was lopsided. There is no electric fireplace. It appears to be in the middle of a remodel. The tub was nice but took an hour to fill and hard to get hot water. The shower was nice, but had no water pressure. The sink is not really attached to the pedestal, so don't lean on it. It sounded like something was scurrying in the wall behind the headboard all night. There are 2 steps down in the bathroom and they are not marked. My SO and I both fell, though mine is worse and I got quite bruised up. The steps really need lighting, or a reflective strip. This is because there are no lamps or soft lighting at night so you wake up the other person. Plenty of lighting in the bathroom but since there is no door or divider, you also wake the other person up. This was not at all worth the price.

Pros: First off the room was very clean and nicely furnished Cons: 1. One of the amenities the room advertised was a DVD player. It was broken and even though I texted the so-called manager I got no response. Ruined our plans for watching the Gone With the Wind movie we brought with us. 2. No toilet paper in the room except what was on the roller when we arrived. We were there 3 days and ran out the morning of the 3rd day. Texted manager but got no response.Luckily we bought some tissues the day before 3. No dining inside the Inn. Our room was not in the main house, so we never got to experience the Inn at all. We were in a "cottage" about 50 yards from the main house. 4. Breakfast was served to us in the room, when we expected to eat in the dining room 5. Absolutely no verbal contact with manager. Text only.Saw NO staff on the grounds at all except when breakfast delivered. 6. An instruction book in our room told us to choose our breakfast choices from the menu provided and write them on the form. What form? no form in the room to order breakfast. Texted manager & she said to just text her what we want. We did for the first morning. We knew ahead of time that they would not serve breakfast on Christmas morning which we were ok with, but the next morning still no form. Texted manager again with breakfast order and request for toilet paper,but got no response, so had no idea if we were even going to get breakfast that morning. It was delivered but no toilet paper. Terrible!

This place is heavenly peaceful! The room is clean, large, smell wonderful. The restaurant was delicious and so classy! I had a great meal with quiet piano music playing in the background. The staff is wonderful! I had all the instructions I needed before I arrived and Tracy even made my dinner reservations! Indy is lovely, my server! Met her outside and she helped me get some dvds and waited on me!!! The relaxing bath is the cherry on top!

For the most part everything was good, we got VERY frustrated with the plugins on the room and the fact that none of our chargers wanted to stay plugged in (it was one of those things we plugged them him held our breath it would stay for longer than 5 minutes). Would have also been nice to have been provided the WiFi password. Even with these we will come back with different charging options and maybe some personal hotspots. The property was beautiful, the room was super cute!!

Visiting our OU daughter. Excellent experience here. Beautiful property and service, nice and calm. Only 15 minutes to campus. We’ll be staying here from now on for our Norman trips.

Mis-Representation, Poor Service

We so wanted this to be a better stay and we looked forward to it. We informed them we would have a late arrival on Friday and when we received our text message for code to our room we were given the wrong room. We would be leaving earlier on Sunday than they delivered breakfast and opted in for their early breakfast of oatmeal offered on their website only to find out they did not know that was on their website. Then they offered 2 packets of “make your own” oatmeal’s. We had reservations on Saturday for dinner at 7 and when we texted to ask if we could come earlier the response was “sorry we missed that reservation”. The Rouge Room did not look at all like images on website. It’s nice that breakfast was delivered but there were no furnishings to eat it. A coffee table with small chairs felt like a “kiddie table” Bed was comfortable, but pillows were not good at all. The room was sparsely furnished and no where to put your luggage but the floor. Lastly the jetted tub was great, but there is a sharp edge on the outside which caused a cut on the foot when getting into the shower/tub. Overall, mis-representation of images, poor service, poor communication. It’s a beautiful property and hope they can improve
