Què li ha agradat: Personal i servei
I want to start by saying that the evening staff and the morning staff at this motel were both really friendly. I even encountered the evening staff dealing with a, in my opinion, rude customer and he dealt with it really well.
The room that we stayed in was very spacious, and I liked that the floors were not carpeted, so it did give an element of clean. I also liked that the windows were open when we walked in which made the room feel fresh.
OK, now about the cleanliness of the room. I have some slight bias as I was a housekeeper for a high-end Airbnb and a vacation resort so there are some minor things that I think should always be taken into consideration during a clean. Under no circumstance, should there ever be hair left in a bathtub or shower. The idea of a room is that it should feel like no one has ever slept or bathed in there before. We all know they have, but I need to feel like they didn’t. And there was several strands of hair in bathtub, gross. Second, the purpose of using white towels is so your guest can see that they are clean. The towels should have no wear and tear and no stains. Again, it should seem as if no one has ever used this before. While I was in my shower, I unfolded the face towel that was on the counter and sure enough there were stains of what looked like it was someone’s eye makeup that didn’t come out all the way in the wash. This is something that definitely was noticed when folding the towel and was put out anyway.
