The Blue Heron is a beautiful, meticulously maintained three-bedroom home loaded with amenities. You will find a clean, artistically decorated space with all the conveniences of home.

We welcome you to stay in our home, located on a lovely bayou in Ocean Springs, MS. This is Valerie’s and Bob’s retirement home; we live here when the weather is too cold up north. We invite you to be comfortable and enjoy Southern hospitality! We are located near a lovely golf course.

Located in the beautiful Gulf Hills area of Ocean Springs, golfing, dining, boating, fishing, and much more await you. Only a five-minute drive to the heart of the historic downtown Ocean Springs shopping/restaurant district, where you will find numerous dining, shopping, and museums that make this town famous.

Beautiful Front Beach is only about eight minutes away and provides white sandy beaches and amazing sunrises/sunsets.

The home provides a formal dining room and a large eat-in kitchen that has everything you need to cook and serve meals.

The Master Bedroom has a King-size bed and a sleeper sofa, with the Master Bathroom featuring a double vanity, stand-up shower, and large tub. Walk out the French doors, and you will be able to slip into the six-person hot tub located on the back deck.

The two guest bedrooms have Queen beds. The guest bathroom has a tub/shower, toilet, single vanity, and makeup vanity. All bedrooms have flat-screen Smart TVs!

The living room has a large flat-screen Smart TV and French doors leading out to the back patio. High-speed Wi-fi is provided.

The Blue Heron provides refreshing water views and a private dock if you decide to bring your boat. Enjoy lounging on our spacious screened enclosed porch or swinging in our hammocks and viewing the bayou. We also provide kayaks for guest use.

A fire pit is provided for your evening enjoyment.

There is a public launch nearby; feel free to tie up your boat at our backyard dock. We have ample parking on the property for vehicles and boat trailers. Security cameras are monitoring the driveway (none indoors)

There is even enough room to park your RV if need be. Please park all vehicles in our spacious driveway.
The garage is not available for guest use.
There is a fully fenced-in backyard for well-behaved furry friends to frolic.

**Please be aware that eight people maximum are allowed on the property at any one time. This will be enforced. If more than eight people are found to be on the property without prior permission, you will be asked to leave without a refund.***

***We have installed exterior security cameras for the safety of both guests and property. These cameras are actively recording both audio and video. They are located at the garage, facing the boathouse to see water levels during storms, and we have a Ring doorbell at the front door. There are no inside cameras.***

***Dogs only are allowed for a $150 non-refundable pet fee that covers up to two well-behaved dogs for three-night stays or less. Must be on flea and tick preventative . Please select that you will be bringing your dogs when making the reservation. If staying longer than three nights, an additional $50 per night charge will be added and we will send a payment request for after booking***

Our community has golfing, boating, fishing, and dining. It is an approximate fifteen-minute drive to Biloxi, where you will find numerous casinos and entertainment options.
