We're pet friendly! The Yellow Bungalow is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy all of the excitement of Ocala! Located just outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown, it’s a short walk from the downtown square and a quick drive to the World Equestrian Center and Silver Springs.

Whether you’re looking to have a romantic evening out or an adventure exploring the natural wonders of Florida’s wildlife, The Yellow Bungalow is centrally nestled amongst all the vacation musts!

Inside you’ll find a full eat-in kitchen to test your culinary aspirations and a cozy living room to snuggle up and watch your favorite movie. When it’s time to wind down, relax in the primary bedroom with a private en-suite bathroom. In the primary bedroom you have private access to your own balcony overlooking the large backyard perfect for enjoying a glass of wine, your morning coffee, or just some peace and quiet to clear your head.

We most certainly did not forget about your furry friends! Just down the stairs off the balcony is a spacious and fully fenced-in backyard for you and your pets to enjoy! Want to cook out instead of going out? A propane grill and outdoor seating are waiting for you if you’re looking to dine al fresco. Unwind after dinner around the fire pit.

The house was perfect for our Thanksgiving trip to visit our son. The house is so cute and the fenced backyard was great for our dogs. We had everything we needed and were close to downtown. We would definitely come back!

Good location and cute

We booked the home for our daughter ans son in law to stay while visiting for Thanksgiving. (Our home cannot house all of the kids and grandchildren) The home was comfortable for our daughter and her family. The location was close to downtown and our home in the historical district. Nice place for the money.

Lovely Cottage in Historic Ocala

This was our second stay at the Yellow Cottage and it was just as great as the first time. It is a perfect size for 2 (and 2 dogs) and in a great location near Historic Downtown. Andrew is absolutely wonderful to work with. We will certainly stay again in the future.

Birthday visit to Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing

Great place to stay with my niece and her fiancé and two dogs to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday with a visit to the museum. We took the recommendations for where to eat from the hosts and was not disappointed! The town is about a 20minute easy walk! We also kayaked at Silver Spring and it was amazing to be that close to the wildlife. Highly recommend and would stay again if in the area.

Best VRBO experience ever

My husband and I stayed with our 2 dogs for a wonderful 4 night stay. The house is absolutely lovely, a perfect size for 2 (or a small family), and only a short drive from Historic Downtown Ocala. Andrew is a responsible host - a bad storm the day we arrived knocked out power to the area and a tree into the backyard - and his communication was immediate. We will most happily stay again.

Perfect getaway with your dog! 🐾

Loved this stay! Gorgeous little cottage exactly as pictured, nice fenced back yard for your dogs. Clean & close to everything you should need. Hosts are responsive and very nice. We’ll definitely stay again when we’re in the area.

Great Ocala getaway

Very nice cottage to stay in Ocala. We enjoyed the proximity to the Historic downtown area. Beautifully lit up for Xmas with many excellent Restaurants. The large backyard was great for our two Jack Russells.

Perfect Cottage

We came to visit family in the area and found this gem close to Historic Downtown Ocala. First, Andrew was very friendly, quick to respond, and accomodating. The place looked perfect, just like the photos. We walked our dog around the neighborhood and found it charming and friendly. Although we did not walk to downtown due to rain, it was a short drive there as well as the local grocery store. Our dog loved to run in the huge backyard, and we all enjoyed the swing on the front porch. The hosts have taken great care with details, from the well stocked kitchen to the linens and bath toiletries. We come to Ocala 4-6 times a year, and have stayed in different areas, but we may have just found the place we'll book time and time again. Thank you for having us.
