This is more of an experience than just a place to stay. The property is breathtaking, and the owners are unbelievably charming and welcoming. If you want to experience the Scottish countryside and truly relax beside a working farm of sheep and cows, alongside a saltwater loch, this is the place to go. The food and drink they offer was also very good. In the future, I will definitely come back and it will be for much longer. You will not regret staying here.

We enjoyed a restful at this small B&B run by charming host Deirdre and her husband. Deidre welcomed us with a lovely light supper in an elegant dining room overlooking the pasture and water beyond. Breakfast with other guests was a delight. It was a memorable, relaxing experience in a beautiful setting.

We loved this stay. The hosts are as good as they come. Always warm and attentive. Only too willing to help were they can. The room was a great size and loved the character. The quietness and rural setting was such a welcome relieve to bring in s town or city.

The small slice of perfection

What an incredible gem nettle in paradise even the approach is magical once you reach the entrance of the house and you enter the beautiful terracotta floor pattern entering the living area with its details perfect selection of colour on the walls beautifully up posted furniture and comfortable plump up cushions what more can you wish for then? You enter the dining area the Polished silver incredible crockery and impeccable and linens on the cake Davide and Deirdre. This is definitely a passion and beautiful project for them both.

Sehr nette, fast familiäre Unterkunft mit sehr sauberen und individuell eingerichteten Räumen. Die Gastgeber servieren ein hervorragend zubereitetes Frühstück. Die Lage ist einsam, aber direkt am Loch Etive. Auf unserer Schottland-Rundreise bisher die bemerkenswerteste Unterkunft.

Absolute gem of a place. My husband and I stayed Monday -Friday and wished we had booked for longer. We where in room 3 and have absolutely no complaints. Clean and tidy throughout. The hosts Deidre and David are incredible. Full of knowledge about the area and just lovely people to be around. Breakfast is second to none (especially the black pudding). Surroundings area is stunning. Great for walks or just relaxing. Will be booking up again. Thank you so much

Amazing Stay

Stunning views all around! The House was like a step back in time, plush and inviting. It was located far enough away for some time to relax, but close enough to see the Isle, Oban and the wonderful area in Glencoe. BUT the best part of the stay were the host, David and Deidre. We couldn’t have asked for better host and their treatment of their guest was so hospitable. They were so helpful! They made a dinner reservation for us as we were driving in, they took us to the bus stop to go into Oban, they suggested the most wonderful tour guide that treated us royally, and they provided us with wellies so we could go traipsing around the grounds. If you need a true vacation with beauty and peace all around, this is your place! Scotland at it’s best.

Blarcreen is one of the best places we have ever stayed. I feel like not only was the place, the surroundings, the service amazing… you leave feeling you’ve made friends with the hosts and the guests. It’s more of a fabulous experience rather than a stay. The house and rooms are beautiful and feel luxurious, the breakfast was superb, the service was fantastic and the views, the wildlife and the night sky and not forgetting the roaring fire on an evening makes this place. Would go again in a heartbeat.
