"Lovely, simple and clean"

"Really cosy, quaint room a stone's throw from the station, and surprisingly quiet despite the World Cup going on across the road. Even though I arrived and left outside staff hours, checking in and out was smooth thanks to clear instructions emailed in advance and the good, old-fashioned room keys instead of cards. They even provided a fan to survive the last of the heatwave. Highly recommend!"

"We would have rated the Castle excellent if we had slept better, but having a room on the busy main road made that difficult…we could imagine that another back room was much quieter. But the atmosphere was nice and both dinner and breakfast freshly cooked and well-presented were all enjoyable."

"The room was ok and staff were ok. The room was cleaned but not to a great standard. Car parking is good as there are loads of spaces. Windows aren’t sound proofed so unfortunately I had to listen to loud noise and music and loud cars outside until half 12 in the morning which isn’t great on an early start. I paid extra for breakfast on the 2 nights I stopped but unfortunately due to the size of the seating area and the hot plates the Q is massive and to small for the guests that are there and...

"Great location for walking into Greenwich across the common. Handy for Uber ferry to all the attractions of London. Staff where friendly/helpful. Not sure what the rooms are like at rear of hotel in the newer building, but our room at the front was a little dated although perfectly adequate. Front rooms very hot in summer and quite a noisey road, especially the number of sirens racing past. Breakfast was good, the resturant appeared a little under used for dinner though. This was our second stay...

"This was a birthday gift for my daughter and she absolutely loved it. She said the staff were amazing and the accommodation was great. They had a meal in the restaurant and it was very nice"
