"It was lovely. It was quiet and away from people, v close to local amenities and sites. The WiFi is spotty but that is no criticism, it was great to know i could just read a book without constantly checking my screen. Will definitely come again."

"Convenient location and clean. Easy checkin with the key available from pub across the road. Had unusual single cup kettle and coffee maker and good selection of teas and coffees. Lights and bathroom tap were on timing sensors and both were a bit annoying particularly the tap when you were trying to fill a jug for the kettle. Bedclothing was a bit tired and there were only 2 fairly flat pillows on a standard size double bed. The thing I really didn’t like though was the musty smell of bedding...

"Check-in - painfully Slow... Insisted on charging a £50 "deposit" at check-in that wasn't mentioned at the time of booking, then after reluctantly paying by card and SEEING THE GREEN TICK AND APPROVAL CONFIRMATION on the terminal screen, the receptionist claimed it hadn't been successful, and I'd need to pay it again (which I refused to do). In the one small lift, the button for the Ground Floor was taped over with the message "Not Workig" (sic) meaning the only way to get back to the ground...

"Breakfast was good. But the room carpet was not hovered. No soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Overall it was so so . We only stayed one night."

"Overall the stay was excellent the hosts were amazing and flexible suggesting places to eat for dinner nearby. The breakfast was delicious. The room was to a high standard and the bathroom was clean with a great shower. Only two reasons it didn’t get a 5 star. The road into the hotel is a dirt track and we had heavy rain and the potholes or rather gorges were filled with water and impossible to see how deep. "Room clean on arrival. No room cleans as stated but no comp breakfast bag which is detailed in the booklet in the room. Overall good but a lot of money for room only & no services provided but not a lot of choice in the area & v close to friends so paid for the convenient location"

"Helpful and friendly welcome from the staff. It is a great budget-friendly place to get your head down for the night. It is very central but was tucked away enough to feel safe. Be aware that it can be quite cold. There was some litter left on the floor in my room when I arrived. Bathroom was lovely and clean, however. Nice of Igloo to include a towel but would recommend bringing your own. Was very quiet and overall got a comfortable night’s sleep in. There are communal areas to make a free hot...
