This was the perfect location for visiting our friends, walking to great restaurants and shops, and getting to public transit. The cottage was cozy and quiet, tucked back from the street, with a beautiful garden outside the windows. The bed was comfortable and the place had all the necessities for our stay. Grateful to the host for their detailed communication!

Great stay in Rockridge

Happy to stay, excellent location, clean place and very good communication with host. Had a couple of minor suggestions for improvement for future guests which were received well. Would easily to choose to stay again when in the area.

Lovely Cottage In a Great Neighborhood

We really enjoyed our stay at Chris' cottage. We love the Rockridge area, and all the amenities that we needed were there. We're originally from the Bay Area, and look forward to staying here when we are back visiting.

The property was just as advertised: very clean, comfortable, quiet, and located just a half a block from College Ave and Rockridge with great coffee, a wonderful small market, a great bakery, and nice restaurants. I highly recommend it. Chris was a perfect host; responsive and helpful. .

Great little cottage!

This is a wonderful cottage for a couple. Half a block from a very lively area with groceries, restaurants, bakery etc and yet very quiet. The host is great, responds promptly to concerns and check in was easy. This is our second stay here and will be coming back!

Convenient, safe & quiet

Chris' cottage is a quiet little spot in a busy, interesting walkable area. The cottage has everything you need and Chris is very responsive. A nice little gem in the heart of Rockridge!

Rockridge Gem

The perfect place for a couple. Just around the corner from 4 coffee houses, groceries, restaurants, boutiques. Lots of room to stretch out, super comfy bed, good shower, well supplied with everything we needed. Hope to return.

This was a clean, quiet, and safe space for us to cocoon in after fast visits with friends and family. The space is small, but entirely adequate and well-appointed. We'll definitely be back.

Lovely stay and accommodating host

My one-night stay at this cottage was perfect. The space was super clean, the bed was comfy, and Chris was very accommodating to me and my service animal. Location is amazing. I felt safe arriving later in the evening. Walking distance to great coffee shops and BART and pretty central to hip neighborhoods and restaurants in Oakland. Would definitely stay here again!

Quiet Retreat

Right off a busy street but you wouldn’t know it. The cottage is small and quiet-perfect for two. The bed was comfortable. The little courtyard right outside the house was perfect for our dog. The property is well lit.
