Comfortable conviennent welcoming home in Oakland

Our host was very welcoming and accommodating. The house is very fresh and clean and thoughtfully appointed. We were very central to everything we wanted to do - visiting family in the area and a student at Cal... a quick journey into SF to visit SFMOMA. The neighborhood is transitioning, but felt very safe and was quiet. We appreciated the off street parking - made access to the house easy for our elderly parent. We will be returning to the area many times over the next several years and would definitely stay here again - truly felt like our home away from home!

Clean, good location, street parking

Overall good, clean. Host was very responsive with messaging. Would use again.There was some miscommunication (putting it mildly) about parking; we were advised it was OK to park in the driveway. I ended up getting awakened at 5am so that the people in the shared driveway could get out for an emergency. The host seemed to think this was OK; we would recommend using the street parking.

Most enjoyable stay

Amazing view, modern amenities, gracious host. This place knocks it out of the ball park when it comes to a view. Wow! And the host, Mariza, was as pleasant and sweet as they come. The house was clean

Weekend at the bay!

Such a comfortable house for our stay. Only 20 minutes drive to Oracle Park. 15 minutes to IKEA. 10 minutes to Jack London Square. Clean house and linens. The kitchen had the necessities. Made for a nice stay for 4 adults and 2 babies.

Wonderful!

Clean, easy access. Wished it had dressers or tables for the suitcases, bags, etc. There was no soap for the shower yet everything else was good.

The house was clean and centrally located! We were close to Berkeley, San Francisco and Alameda! Shoes are not allowed inside which makes this house clean and cozy!

Emeryville-Oakland weekend

We had a Wonderful stay at VRBO rental. The house was so well done, clean and maintained. We had close access to our family outings and day trips. We would definitely stay here again upon return to the bay area. Thank you for keeping open communication and prompt replies to our questions. You were Great Hosts!!!

Tolle Zeit

Das Haus ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. San Francisco Downtown ist in ca.25 min mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist etwas spärlich, da das Haus für 6 Personen geeignet ist, aber nur 4 Personen an dem Esstisch Platz finden und auch nur 5 Tassen vorhanden sind. Die Betten sind etwas schmal für 2 Personen, ist aber nicht unbequem. Grundsätzlich waren wir aber sehr zufrieden und empfehlen die Unterkunft weiter.

Beautiful but disappointed in the communication

The house was perfect. I would have give all 5 stars but the day we were checking out, workers showed up before 8am to install solar panels on the house. This was not communicated to us ahead of time, it was VERY noisy, and they had to shut the power off. That was a frustrating end to what would have otherwise been a perfect stay.

Perfect Stay

Place was extremely clean! They have a “no shoe” rule which is great and host provides with slippers which is a big plus in my book. Home was spacious and everything was modernized. I stayed with a family of 7 ( 2 under 12 year olds). Only suggestion I would give is maybe have some kind of all purpose cleaning materials to help guests clean as they go, maybe Clorox wipes. Regardless, I will definitely look for this place to stay if ever visit again.

Comfortable spacious and quiet

This was perfect for us, bedrooms far apart, nice kitchen plus separate eating area. Amazingly quiet and comfortable, beds were great, shower terrific! Easy keypad, generally everything we needed!

Nette Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und entsprach den Fotos. Allerdings geht aus den Bildern nicht hervor, wie klein die Betten tatsächlich sind, in zwei Zimmern waren diese maximal 1,40 m breit, was für 2 Erwachsene Personen doch etwas eng wird. Außerdem ist es für mich nicht nachvollziehbar, wie man eine Unterkunft für 6-7 Personen anbieten kann, aber nur 4 Stühle zur Verfügung stellt. Das war zwar so abgebildet, aber ich bin davon ausgegangen, dass es gegebenenfalls noch ein oder 2 Klappstühle gibt. Auf meine Nachfrage beim Vermieter kam nur die Antwort "sorry, habe ich keine". Wir haben bei der Buchung angegeben, dass wir zu fünft anreisen und ein gemeinsames Frühstück am Tisch war somit nicht möglich. Die Lage war in Ordnung, nicht die schönste Gegend, aber man ist schnell in San Francisco und als Ausgangsbasis durchaus zu empfehlen.
