Brand New Cottage In Great Berkeley Neighborhood.

Lovingly designed and built, with peaked ceilings, gas fireplace, radiant heat floors and wooden windows. Private patio area. Bedroom #1 with queen size bed. Bedroom #2/den has couch that converts to full-size bed. Day bed in living room has twin mattress. Full size appliances, fully equipped kitchen. Washer and dryer in cottage.

Walking distance to College Avenue shops and restaurants, UC Berkeley and BART. Parking space available, but many people come without a car. Elmwood neighborhood has a library, bank, movie theater, 2 bookstores and many great restaurants and shops. Great location for visiting Berkeley, or as a base for exploring San Francisco and northern California.

This is a great value in South Berkeley. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with lots of restaurants/grocery stores nearby. It’s a 15 min walk to the BART and the owner was helpful but let us have privacy too!

We had a lovely stay at Patty’s immaculate cottage. The neighborhood is beautiful and serene and the cottage itself provided everything we needed. Our host couldn’t have been more accommodating and friendly and we had several enjoyable and informative conversations with her.

Excellent, fully-equipped kitchen and laundry with efficient washer and dryer. Pantry had some condiments, coffee, and tea, so it was not necessary to shop for these items in order to dine in. Location is in a beautiful, quiet residential neighborhood, but convenient to interesting shops, restaurants, and a variety of good carry-outs for sushi, salads, Mexican, Chinese, Italian, Middle Eastern, ice cream--all within a five to ten minute walk.Rooms were clean, well-arranged, and very comfortable, with many seating areas. The cottage has lovely natural light, ventilation, and a garden.

This cottage was lovely. Honestly, I wouldn't change anything about it. Patty was very helpful. The kitchen was very well equipped. The bed was quite comfortable for two. Some of my favorite things there were the flowers. They were everywhere! She obviously has a very green thumb. We would love to stay there again.

My son and I stayed here while we shopped to move him into his new place. It was very private, clean, and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Very walkable and College Avenue has lots of food choices. So much fun to explore.

We had a wonderful stay at Patty's cottage and it was everything that we had hoped it would be! Patty was there to greet us upon arrival and show us the ropes and was always lovely and friendly when we bumped into her during our stay. The cottage was clean and well stocked with everything that we needed to cook, make coffee and just enjoy ourselves. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of clean towels and linens. The location could not be better, walking distance to just about everything you need. We had a small issue with a smoke alarm that decided to start chirping right after we arrived, and after telling Patty about, it she had somebody there in 15 minutes to change the battery and resolve the problem. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in Berkeley and maybe we'll be able to convince Patty to join us for a glass of wine next time too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It’s a cozy, recently constructed cottage with all modern amenities. It’s very well designed in every respect with lots of cupboard and storage space. There is parking in the driveway.The location couldn’t be better. It’s walking distance to shops and restaurants along College Ave.Patty, the owner, lives in the front house and is very personable and accommodating. We’re looking forward to staying here again!

wonderful stay at adorable cottage in terrific neighborhood

My two teenagers and I enjoyed our stay in the beautiful cottage in Berkeley. We appreciated the well-appointed home, with all the amenities we needed - washer dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, etc. The host even provided cloth bags for our grocery shopping! We would happily stay there again - it's a real gem

Fabulous location!

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed in this charming cottage! Patty, the owner, has provided everything to make your stay comfortable. We also love the location of the cottage which is in walking distance to Downtown Elmwood’s wonderful shops and restaurants. We will be back soon!

It was comfortable & cute, but yard, small that we knew, wasn't quite what we expected for sitting out there if wanted to. Not kept up. We pretty much stayed there for location for graduation & area. Great for walking & restaurants/coffee shops.

Cottage delight

This Berkeley Cottage is located in a quiet neighbourhood with a nice shopping area nearby. It was the perfect place for us to recoup and enjoy some downtime while exploring the East Bay. We appreciated Patty’s hospitality and the parking space she made available to us.
