Pros: Host was very responsive about questions/requests. A big basket of assorted Keurig pods was more than enough for our stay. Great location due to its close proximity to Yosemite. Sadly, we didn’t get time to hike the Lewis Creek Trail that was nearby (next time, for sure!). Bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable, which our creaky backs appreciated. Ceiling fans in all the bedrooms and family room helped keep air circulating. Having air-conditioning was definitely a major plus, as it was pretty warm during our stay. The gas grill out back looked brand new and worked perfectly. The neighborhood was peaceful and made it easy to sleep soundly. The wild turkeys wandering the neighborhood during the day were entertaining. Cons: Although the cabin was very clean, the carpeting had several stained areas that needed to be cleaned. The extra space (game room?) was not air-conditioned, and was too warm in June to spend any time in. The door from that room that led to the back porch needs to be repaired. It sticks really bad (I wasn’t able to open it without my husband’s help) and should be fixed so as to allow an easy escape route, in case of emergency. The stair railings were under construction, and were pretty unstable. All of the porches and railings could use some repairs/updating. In our opinion that would be a major draw for people wanting to rent this cabin in the future.
