"We stayed there for our 30 year anniversary. The staff was so nice. They gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. The room was clean and the view was amazing. It was also so close to everything we wanted to do. Definitely will stay there again when we visit Fort Bragg again! "

"The Weller House is a lovely 1886 historic home converted into a small hotel. Many of the furnishings are period antiques, and each room is decorated with a different color scheme. Being an old house, it does possess some of the quirks inherent, like creaky floors and stairs everywhere, but it is completely charming. It is also located within walking distance from much of the central downtown area. Two thumbs up!"

"I used the hot tub. Breakfast was about average. I paid more for a room with a patio but wasn't worth it, a small concrete enclosure with a high wooden fence."

"Anchor Lodge was beautiful! We had such a fun stay and it was amazing waking up hearing the sea lions and watching the boats. Highly recommend this hotel."

"Fridgerator did not get cold enough to keep things frozen in the freezer compartment and fridge not very cold either."

"The hotel has renovated rooms. It seems they are going to be working on the rest of the property its a convinient walking distance to glass beach the the coastal trails"

"The view from our room made the stay worth it all. The shower was perfect. The pool said closed but it wasn’t. They keep the cover on to keep it warm but it wasn’t warm. The free breakfast is so so. Not great but not bad. The property is pretty but could use some work. Just like the rooms. The bed was comfy enough. It could have been better but it could have been worse!! Staff was super kind! Natalie was very nice and friendly. "

"The room we stayed at wasn’t very clean. There is definitely lots of dust on different surfaces, including clumped up hair in the bathroom. It worked for what it is, but I wouldn’t return to this place. "

"Honestly it was a surprisingly nice room that had fairly good sound dampening, which was great as every room was booked around us. The one problem we had was the pool area was under construction and they started at 8am which was loud and woke us up, and the construction also took over the small dog station area making it difficult for my doggos. But overall it was a nice stay on comfortable and clean beds."

"Barely a 3 star, glass door to outside stuck, coffee. Maker did not work, room small and beach access was nonexistent for us in our 70’s, too steep and I slid down trail. Unfortunately would not recommend."

"Great stay . Great big beautiful window view of the ocean . While the rooms may be a bit outdated they are still cute and the bed was really comfortable. Everything was clean . No dusty or dirty surfaces , nice outdoor chairs that were also clean. The parking lot was clean and felt safe . The staff was friendly, check in and check out went smooth. My only one suggestion/ complaint. I have a kid in a wheel chair and need van accessible parking ( I did request it ) . There were only 2 handicap...

"Water from the faucets smelled like sewage. Taking a shower felt very unsettling because of the smell of the water. Linens, including the towels, were saturated in fabric softener--not good for anyone with chemical sensitivities. The view was great though-- perfect for a sunset, very peaceful. Best to settle in before dark and stay put, as long as they have resolved the water & linen quality issues."

"Ocean was not visible from our room, but we didn’t care. The gardens were absolutely beautiful, the staff very nice and she upgraded our room without us even asking. We will definitely be coming back! "

"Oh this place is beautiful. The main Lodge is a gorgeous building, full of fascinating books and accessories for sale. (Not to mention the sweetest cats). Stanford has the only indoor pool and hot tub for 100 miles. The restaurant was hot garbage, but Mendocino is chock full of wonderful places to eat."
