"I chose to stay at this property due to the location, for that it was perfect, extremely close proximity to Nottingham and a great stop off on my journey.
The downsides. First off, given the price of the room, I wasn't expecting much at £80 a night, but I certainly was expecting more. Upon opening the door to the room I was met with a foul odour that stayed with me for the whole night. "Super Staff, friendly, helpful and were interested in why we were staying.
Last September I ruptured my Achilles Tendon, this is still causing problems and the young lady on Reception - who also had a problem with a broken arm - was extremely helpful and we had a discussion with regards to how life is very difficult with limbs that are damaged!
Lovely room - although the shape led to an odd small window and a large wall that gave the impression a window had been removed!
We had a lovely time...

"Very nice hotel, exceptionally good staff.
Only problem was it’s quite a distance from the city centre. If you’re up for a trek, you could take the canal path, but not good if you have loads to carry.
Would definitely stay there again and now being aware of the location would plan accordingly. "

I had a small room that was actually a good size (typical cheap London size). It was tired and scruffy and the noise from the adjoining room and outside was a distraction. "

"Helpful and friendly welcome from the staff. It is a great budget-friendly place to get your head down for the night. It is very central but was tucked away enough to feel safe. Be aware that it can be quite cold. There was some litter left on the floor in my room when I arrived. Bathroom was lovely and clean, however. Nice of Igloo to include a towel but would recommend bringing your own. Was very quiet and overall got a comfortable night’s sleep in. There are communal areas to make a free hot...

"I booked hotel on the same day of the stay. It turns out a form must be filled in and completed prior to being allowed in just the hotel reception. Upon finding this detail out as I arrived at the hotel, it was quite the disappointing experience that cannot be matched by having an on site host.
Once the information was submitted, followed by a secondary transaction of a significant sum in the reception to act as damage waiver, we were finally granted access to our room.
Room was nice but for...
