"Terrific location, excellent, clean accommodations - our room and bathroom could not have been more spacious and pleasant. I highly recommend this place and definitely plan to stay there again. I loved meeting owners Pedro and Suzanna and enjoyed meeting the other guests. "

"Absolutely beautiful place to stay during our time on the island. Staff was amazing, breakfast was perfect every morning. They even provided a birthday cake for me during our stay. The history of the house added to the charm. Room was lovely. "

"This hotel is a lovely oasis of calm in the city of Ponta Delgada! It’s stylish and modern and the pool is a welcome destination after a day out adventuring. Breakfast was delicious; I cannot recommend the restaurant for dinner as it is closed Monday and Tuesday nights (the two nights of our stay). There was some construction going on that was a bit noisy during the daytime hours (renovations of a nearby property) and the beds were too firm for my taste. "We really enjoyed the Rock Hostel. Our room was big and super clean and had a private bathroom. Internet worked great. The breakfast was amazing. We didn't use the pool but it looked fantastic as well. Definitely more of a hotel feel than a hostel. Highly recommend this place. "

"Great recent and spacious studio, well furnished, huge terrasse. Kitchen equiped with all the required items. The location by the water is quite nice, and the rooftop patio too! Way too cold to use the pool when we were there, but it seems pretty. Easy parking, nice staff. I would only have liked more hanging hooks - in such a wet climate you always need to dry stuff, and with humidity at 80% in the room, it doesn't dry fast!"

"Beautiful historic building, great location where you can walk to everything. Easy to get in the main door and the suite. Nice amenities including the breakfast which was such a spread it was almost too much. Nice pool and outdoor area. Overall really nice!"
