"Room was clean. The curtains were hideous. They were absolutely too long for the windows. It through the entire vibe of the room off. They were super long heavy draperies. That needs to be fixed. There is no way. This is not how the room looked in the picture. Also, my room was switched because the receptionist said the rooms were all taken, but it's the same room, just on a different floor for the same price even though my room was scheduled ahead of time. I think they can definitely do better...

"Lets start by pulling in, the parking is cramped. The property is functional but old. The staff was very nice. The elevator was broken and I was put on third floor. "Check in with Mori was fast and informative about the hotel. We arrived to a room that had its toilet running, and about one minute after we got into the room maintenance knocked on the door to fix it. This was awkward and altered our post arrival plans. I gather the room was pre assigned and not put out of service?! The AC was ineffective since the thermostat was set to run for the minimum amount of time possible, so it turned on and off very quickly and very often. The pillows were awful, but...

"The Hotel was convenient to the my location for Saint Louis University Graduation. The Hotel was clean and served a very good buffet breakfast. The Hotel did accommodate me and I was allowed early check in. Front desk staff was professional and pleasant and also, gave me two complimentary bottles of water. "This Marriott property is a little run down. The rooms are clean but the conditions could be a little better… it’s very old. The main issue with this location would have to be the staff. The front desk staff were not welcoming at all. They were rude and acted like they couldn’t be bothered when approached. I’ve never had such - lack of hospitality at other Marriott locations."
