"Free parking and a half decent continental breakfast with boiled eggs, oatmeal, yummy, chocolate, croissants, bananas, and Yoplait yogurt. The location is phenomenal and if you just need a halfway decent bed to sleep on in a great location for a phenomenal price, this is the hotel for you. If you're a Primadonna and I need a fancy bed or big room, look elsewhere."

"We adored our stay at The Maxwell Hotel. The location was perfect for exploring Seattle by foot. Pro tip, there's a garden located on the top floor of the parking garage across the street. It even has a sensory garden for kids!
Hotel staff was top notch. Raul, Gucci and Georgia (the later two are canine hotel employees) were fan favs but we encountered ZERO nonsmilers. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again!"

"I expected the hotel to have an older vibe as it did. The staff were super helpful and hospitable. The lobby and restaurant were beautiful. The bed was comfy and there were lots of pillows.
Unfortunately, this is where my compliments end. The hallways smelled weird and there are no ice machines. I had to go to the lobby to ask concierge for it each time. The AC was replaced with a very loud portable unit. I was offered a new room but was told that all the rooms have the same portable units....

"We LOVED this hotel! It was gorgous, staff was really polite and helpful. Gym was clean and very well stocked. Café was tasty. Our room was small and had an awkward center beam in the middle of the room but we only stayed overnight so not a huge deal. It was the only Negative thing!"

"The room was clean and the staff were friendly enough. I was disappointed to see how long and how much food and trash were in the hallways. It was a great location with lots of history. We did not eat at the restaurant and the coffee shop was okay. It seemed to be always understaffed. I would stay again at a lower price point than what we paid."

The room didn’t have drawers to put clothes, the toilet was very low , not your usual height. Difficult to sit down or get up!
Disappointed no room service.
