Little Red Cabin in the woods

  • Little Red Cabin is located just off Reeder Bay Rd, close to Elkins Resort ( with a boat ramp )and public access areas with sandy beaches and swim areas for lake fun. It's conveniently located so you can go from lake fun to being in the woods in mere moments so bring your boat, 4 wheelers, bicycles, hiking shoes or any other adventure toys you might have. The cabin is nestled amongst the trees on 1.25 acres, ample parking for vehicles and whatever toys you might bring. The cabin was updated a few years ago. It has all the modern amenities of home: washer/ dryer, TV with DVD player, a well equipped kitchen for family dinners and a nice living room with a fire place. Little Red Cabin has 3 bedrooms one with a queen bed, one with a double bed and one with a double/ twin bunk bed. The Little Red Cabin has a single bathroom with a shower / tub combo, toilet, vanity with mirror and a medicine cabinet. From the kitchen, going out the back door you will be on a nice sized deck with a picnic table and a BBQ perfect for entertaining, relaxing or having a delicious meal. From the deck you can step down to a beautiful big back yard where the kids can play to their hearts content. At the edge of the yard is a firepit with wood for evening relaxation, roasting marshmallows and recounting the days adventures.
    Come enjoy the Little Red Cabin and leave the stress of everyday life behind.

We had a great stay at the Little Red Cabin. We had a family reunion at Elkins and the Little Red Cabin offered a great balance of giving us space and allowing us to be close to the action.

Everything was great! We have been in the area multiple time visiting family, but this was the first time that we rented a place of our own. We made Thanksgiving dinner for my family of 4 plus my inlaws who live close by and it was a fun time for all of us. We will definitely recommend it to others and I know ky inlaws have even made comments about tellign other family members about it so that they can try and stay here while they are in town.My kids have alrwady said they cant wait to come back and stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Little Red Cabin. The cabin was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed making s’mores by the fire. We had an afternoon storm that lasted a few hours but we took that time to relax and watch a couple of dvds. We definitely enjoyed our time and can’t wait to come back.

Fantastic place!

We loved everything about the cabin! It was super clean and very easy check in. It is stocked with everything you would need. Our kids loved the dvds for down time after a long day of playing in the lake. It’s very close to the wonderful resort, Elkins. We can’t wait to stay again!

Despite our mix of weather, we had a wonderful time, soaking up the beauty of Priest Lake and watching the storms roll in from the beach and coziness of the cabin. From the outdoor fire pit and beautiful backyard out to the indoor wood burning stove and the thoughtful stack of firewood and kindling ready to go-the LRC was lovely. It is ideally located next to Ledgewood beach and the one and only Elkins resort. So grateful for our time and would highly recommend for any couple, family or group of friends. Thank you for sharing your special getaway with us Jeff.
