"The hotel has an excellent location steps from the Nishiki market. However, the room was quiet and the beds were firm. It was very convenient to have a washer/ dryer system in the room. The room was a bit small but functional with a microwave and mini fridge in the room. Bus and subway stations are nearby."

"Great location, only 5min walk to closest subway station. Great hosts who were very responsive and gave us a lot of great recommendations on matcha ceremony and sake tasting. Not to mention there are 4 complimentary activities included (matcha, sake, fan painting, and card game). Unit is small but very cozy if you want to experience sleeping on futons."

"By far the best hotel we have stayed at. Forgot anything, Hotel Forza has you covered. Lots of amenities like coffee, bath salts, toothbrush, you name it they probably will have it ready for you free of charge. English friendly and will hold your bags on the day of checkout if your transportation isn’t until the evening. Would recommend again to anyone staying in the Kyoto area!"

"Clean room, new and modern hotel, larger rooms, fantastically kind people on their staff, very helpful and good communication in English. They have their own stamp also! Perfect location, easy to find and get around Kyoto. It has an extremely quiet laundry system and a smart TV making it easy to stream or cast from your phone. Amenities were also available and stocked well, things like razors, tooth brushes, combs, and other misc toiletries. Available drink fridge & super easy luggage shipping...

"This was a lovely hotel! Great location close to the metro and only two stops up from Kyoto Station; it’s right next to the market and a lot of shopping and restaurants. It was very easy for us to get around to all the sights we wanted to see! The room itself was huge and clean. The beds were possibly the most comfy hotel beds I’ve ever slept in. The staff were very kind and also helped me ship my luggage at the end. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"The hotel is located in a very convenient area in Gion and is easy to get to the subway station. The unit that we had was the standard one bedroom with two double beds and the unit was super clean, modern and spacious! My mom and I absolutely enjoyed our stay at Rinn Gion Shirakawa. The amenities that they provided were amazing too, ranging from a water fountain, laundry machines and a microwave and others… super great! I highly recommend this hotel if you plan to travel to Kyoto! "

"As a solo traveller this place exceeded my expectations. The room was very cozy, bathroom very chic and practical and the location was amazing. It’s right at the start of the older cobblestoned dimly lit area and coming home after dinner was really a treat walking the streets. "

"The whole place is spacious, peaceful and beautiful! Japanese style room equipped with complimentary drinks and snacks as well as nice pajamas and slippers to use during stay. The shower and very large bath tub are amazing! Very close to great shopping and Nishiki market. We hope to come back soon for a longer stay."
