"Lovely cottage, very, snug and warm and comfortable, set in a beautiful and peaceful location with plenty of car parking space. Diane was an excellent host leaving us some nice goodies, a great information pack and some very useful local information."

"Great location in the centre of Hawes. Lovely little cottage, comfortable rooms not huge but it is a quirky cottage. Be sure you can handle stairs! Everything you needed for a great stay. Chippie across the road, Cafe's & pubs 5 minute walk. Bus stops outside to train station at Garsdale and Leyburn for onward Bus to Blacksheep brewery. Dog friendly walks all around. Just a great place we had a lovely time."

"Very friendly reception from the landlord Gareth who provided a most enlivening atmosphere in the Duke of Wellington ie a darts match for the men and Easter wreath making for the ladies. No food unfortunately but we found an excellent Italian restaurant in nearby Northallerton. The courtyard room was clean and comfortable, marred only by a very awkward shower - not easy to enter, due to lack of space."
