View of Views of miles of beach, Yaquina Head Lighthouse and the beautiful Pacific. One word describes it: WOW!!

A fantastic bluff top location in the heart of Newport close to the fine dining, shopping & activities of Historic Nye Beach & the Bayfront. Panoramic only begins to describe what the eyes take in from this spectacular oceanfront vantage point.

This 2,100sf contemporary oceanfront home is beautifully appointed to maximize both comfort & views. The living, dining & kitchen areas are on the upper level adjacent to an oceanfront sundeck, and many large picture windows take in the views. A high vaulted open beam ceiling & floor to beam rock electric fireplace accentuate the open yet cozy expanse, with a 52" LCD TV/DVD & free WIFI internet.

The kitchen is framed by a long granite countertop/bar and has all stainless appliances. A dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster are included along with all necessary utensils. A laundry room and 1/2 bathroom are conveniently nearby.

Three of the four bedrooms front the blue Pacific. A large Master Bedroom is on the upper level with access to the sundeck and includes a King Bed, TV/DVD & Master Bathroom with a jetted Jacuzzi tub. The other three bedrooms, two with Queen Beds and one with 2 Twin Bunkbeds are on the ground level along with a full bathroom.

There is also ample room for convenient off street parking for 4 cars.

NOTE: Weekly rentals are 7 days & 7 nights (not 6 nights as some offer).

This beachfront home has a fantastic ocean view with a well maintained, albeit steep path to the beach just steps away. The home is very dated with an excessive amount of beach themed decor, which is most likely excluded from regular cleaning. The furniture is comfortable but mismatched, the electric fireplace very rusty in appearance. The listing does not hide these features; it was just more so than we expected. The kitchen is well-stocked with beach themed plates, bowls, platters, but lacks organization. Perhaps labeling the cupboards and drawers would be helpful. There were more than 20 knives but not a full set of measuring spoons or cups. It would also be helpful to have a guest book with instructions for the tv and for check-out as well as for other important information. Our host was very responsive to internet issues which were quickly resolved and was kind to offer early entry and a later check-out without charge. This house is a very good value for it's amenities, but would really WOW with a few upgrades.

The home is situated overlooking a wonderful beach area of Newport. It is close to restaurants and sight seeing activities. The beach is accessible by a well cared for path very near the house. The house itself was very clean, well stocked with linens, dishes, and daily supplies. Our family enjoyed the coziness, comfortable chairs and amenities. We had a wonderful stay at the WOW house.

This home has the best view of any house in newport. Path to beach right next door. Beds comfy and very clean. It is a period house with beautiful wood everywhere, not cookie cutter at all.We have stayed before and look forward to our next visit.

We had an amazing time at WOW house! Jim and Lana are top notch hosts! The house had everything we needed, including all of the pots, pans, and utensils to put together a Thanksgiving dinner! There were seven of us, and the house, with the 4 bedrooms and three bathrooms, accommodated us all very comfortably. And…. the view from the floor to ceiling windows.. fantastic! We will return! As a matter of fact, none of us wanted to leave! The beach was a short hike down from the house, but it is a well maintained path. The beach was incredible, even in the rain!

Our whole group wasn’t able to join due to an emergency in the family, so I wasn’t able to attend, but the hosts were so kind and understanding while trying to figure out rescheduling. In the long run, my sister and her husband ended up staying. She said she was absolutely floored at the beauty of the scenery and said the house was perfect and sparkly clean. She also said the beds were very comfortable as well. She told me this was a top trip of her lifetime. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Gorgeous views. Lots of thoughtful touches not always included in rental properties - washer/dryer, toiletries, rain jackets to use if needed, great restaurant recommendations...Clean, VERY well stocked kitchen comfy beds, plenty of hot water for showers for 5 adults and strong wifi. Hosts were very responsive to any questions. Should we return to the Eugene area we would definitely stay again!

Our trip to the ‘Wow’ house was everything we hoped it would be! The house itself is incredibly well stocked, the beds were all comfortable, and there was plenty of space for seven adults. We absolutely loved the decor and the feel of the house and as everybody has already stated, the location and view is out of those world! We appreciated the willingness of the owners to work with us when we had a glitch come up prior to our stay. They were incredibly easy to communicate with and were quick to respond. We loved the location and the easy access to the beach. We were sad to have to go home, but will definitely be back!

The view is really a Wow

We had two families with grown children stay for a week. It had enough room for everyone and we really enjoyed the house. The kitchen is stocked well. The beds were comfortable. The short walk to the beach was really convenient. We had to run to the grocery store a few times and it was really close. Great location, clean, and comfortable.
