"This is a beautifully situated old mill on a gentle stream with gorgeous grounds. Idyllic. Just outside Lymington but a short 8 minute drive into town or to the ferry. Dinner was good with excellent service. Nice room, comfy beds, good bathroom. We were there on the hottest day of the year so it was very hot in the room but a fan was provided which helped."

"A relaxing feel runs through the hotel and out into the gardens. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. Herons love it too! The staff were smiley and attentive, Our room was clean and the towels soft and fluffy. We made use of the spa facilities every day. The pool temperature was great for us."

"The property was beautiful and basically in the middle of the woods so dead easy for dog walking - also and outside hose which was really handy considering how muddy it was! It was freezing when we arrived but the heating, once I figured it out was effective. Unfortunately there were no logs or kindling for the fire which would have been beautiful. "Room was super hot, and old. Shower was rusty. The bed was the smallest and most uncomfortable bed I've slept in. No one ever available at reception. And to top it all off spent an absolute fortune for one night. Do not recommend at all."
