The hotel had be recently updated. It's very modern. My one complaint is the lighting in the room was quite dim. Higher wattage bulbs or a table lamp would be useful.

The hotel and room were clean and quiet. The bed was quite comfortable, the pool was very nice, and the overall environment was quite peaceful. The manager was very nice and extremely helpful, going out of his way to assist us!

I liked the remote check-in option. The beds were comfortable. The room was relatively clean, but it was hard to tell because the lighting was so low. There were no bureaus or closets to store your clothing in. There was no way to raise the volume above a whisper on the tv so that you could hear the program. I would not choose this hotel again, especially for the price I had to pay.

We had a great stay. The front desk was very helpful, the rooms were spacious. The facilities were great in the location was excellent. There’s a path with the woods that walks down to a beach. We will definitely recommend staying there.

I would have given a Much better review except for one thing. Lack of staff and support. You check yourself in with a key code. When we arrived the code didn’t work and it took some time to get help. The person on the phone was clueless but someone came up and got us in. However one night my wife forgot the code, I was dead asleep and she could not get anyone on the phone or via text. Help never arrived. She could have been locked out all night but finally with enough banging they got Me up. This alone would make it impossible for me to stay here again.

Two adults and one service dog checked in on 7/23/25. The Inn at sunapee.When we walked in there was not a soul insight. Then JP appeared from the living room area I believe. He did chat with us. He was well aware. I had a service dog although I still got charged a $50 fee for it. Which if you have a service dog , they can not charge you!!!! Not one picture on the walls in our room. very , very dull room .we had no bureaus for our clothes .Also,when we left, our door did not lock, even though we had a code ,it didn’t matter. that door never locked. And every time we went into the lobby, there was never anybody there. We did go out for a while when we came back in the room around 9:30 at that night. There was like four cars in a parking lot ,never seen one single person . all around creepy vibe. My dog did not bark once .did not make any mess, so there was no need to charge me that $50 fee. Also, no ice available, no coffee available in the morning kept saying he was making it.we were given the wifi password, however,? The internet ( our phones & the tv ) don’t not work!! So if you asked, would I stay there again? Absolutely not !!!very bad experience.

Check in was great, easy, no wait. As was check out. I can't rate the staff as I never saw a single person. It was very dark, the outside color and inside colors. Very sterile. Clean, but not even a clock in the room. I didn't dislike it, just a weird vibe.

Had a great time. Easy walk down to the large public beach. Pool was excellent. Great restaurant right next door. Seems like still being renovated, but wasn't a bother. Still no security at the front door to the hotel; I imagine it's coming soon (only reason I took off a star).

Liked the beds, attractive rooms. Parking lot is a disaster w sink holes. Check in was difficult and cumbersome. Ridiculous not to have someone on site to talk w on the phone ahead of time as opposed to s phone bank.

Positives: Room was newly remodeled and clean. Negatives: There is NO ONE on site to help with ANY issues and extreme difficulty contacting anyone to help. You check in/check out by phone. Had an issue with people running up and down halls, yelling, slamming doors, and playing loud music until 2am but no way to contact anyone to intervene. I tried texting, emailing and calling at the time and the next day. Talked to a remote message taker the next day, asked for a room change that night, and he said they’d get back to me in a day or two; still haven’t heard back now more than 48h later, after I’ve already left. Very frustrating and VERY poor service. I also DID NOT FEEL SAFE as a solo woman traveller. There was no lock/key card access on the exterior of the building so anyone could have walked in, day or night. It’s basically an exterior corridor hotel. As mentioned previously, though, unlike an exterior corridor hotel, there was also NO STAFF there if something were to happen. Based on the prior reviews I was excited to stay here but so disappointed in the end. Take caution when thinking to book this hotel.

It was self check-in so no staff was around. Because of this there was no one to monitor activity and there were guests in the lobby area and hallways until 2AM. The internet TV went out so couldn't use that to block any noise. There was a number to text issues to. I text twice and no one contacted me.

Very disappointed with this hotel and will not return. We arrived and left shortly afterward to meet friends for dinner, but the door to our room would not lock. It is an electronic keypad lock. The locking feature did not work. A hotel employee called the manager who was offsite and they assured me that they would fix it. We took our valuables with us, but left our suitcases. When we returned hours later the door was still unlocked. Anyone could have entered our room while we were gone. Fortunately, the deadbolt lock did work while we stayed in the room overnight. The next morning, while taking a shower, and having my head totally lathered up in shampoo, the water stopped. Completely! Not even a dribble or drop! Funny now, maybe, but I was ripping mad at the time. After about 3-4 minutes the water came back on. It was a long 3-4 minutes not knowing whether or when the water would come back on. Furthermore, we were on our way to attend a Memorial service, so that made this situation even more difficult. But wait! There’s more. The room was dirty. The floor had not been vacuumed in a while and there were crumbs, or something, on the little dinette table in the room. Lastly, nobody ever followed up about the door not being fixed as promised. When we checked out in the morning, nobody was at the front desk to speak to. You simply checkout using a tablet on the counter. No need to speak to an unhappy customer I guess. Terrible experience.

The rooms were ok. I really did not like how there was no staff at all. If you had any questions or concerns you had to call a number at a call center and they would relay your issues to the property. We got locked out of our room and if the nice housekeeper was not there, who knows how long it would have taken to get in contact with someone to help us. Also, for the price of thses rooms, some sort of continental breakfast would have been nice. This is a rural area with no options for coffee or breakfast nearby. Honestly, i would not stay here again and we actually left a night early to come home because the beds were not very comfy either.
