Before writing this review, I reached out to Hilton corporate and never head back from them so posting my review here. I stayed at the DoubleTree Hotel with my family, booking two rooms for four nights. While the location was convenient and central, our overall experience was quite disappointing, especially considering the Hilton name.
Housekeeping was inconsistent. Coffee and disposable cups were not replenished regularly, and I had to clean the coffee machine myself every day. Even after requesting refills, it would take up to 45 minutes for them to arrive, which was frustrating.
The most troubling part of our stay occurred on the last day when one of the elevators was out of service. It took us nearly 45 minutes to get down from the 11th floor. With very limited room in the working elevator, we had no choice but to send my mother and our luggage down first. The rest of us, including my 75-year-old father had to take the stairs. It was an exhausting and unacceptable situation, especially for older guests.
For a DoubleTree by Hilton property, I expected far better service, maintenance, and responsiveness. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet the standards I’ve come to associate with the Hilton brand. I will not be staying at this property or recommend anyone either.
