Room was booked for two persons. My flight got canceled by the airline , while my girlfriend showed up at the hotel to check in . The hotel refused to let her gain entry. I contacted the hotel multiple times to explain the situation and they did it wish to help at all. My girlfriend was refused and forced to scramble out in the cold New York night to find somewhere to sleep. Horrible customer service!!
Called multiple times and rep advised the booking could be updated with both names through Expedia, since that is where the booking was made. Expedia rep claimed the booking was updated with both names yet my girlfriend was still refused entry. Mariott did not provide any solution for the problem but instead turned away someone from a room they booked and forced her out into cold, with no where to sleep. I've course they collected the money we paid for the booking!! DO NOT STAY HERE .
They don't even answer their phones when you call. Horrible service from Marriott. I have never experienced such terrible service from Mariott in my life!
