This property is in an excellent location. It has a well equiped kitchen, two bathrooms and plenty of hot water. It's perfect for three or four people and the value is great. If you've ever tried to find affordable accomodations in a neighborhood you wanted to stay in in New York, you'll appreciate this place. Like any New York apartment the building hallways are subject to the other tenants, but don't let that stop you. You'll apprecaite where you are. The weather went from spring like to wintery cold while we were there and the place stayed very comfortable. I'd stay again.

Clear instruction how to get in. The place was very clean, nice neighborhood location. Plenty of food/drink/subway options. A second tv in the downstairs would be nice but kids were too tired to care too much. Id go back without a doubt

The apartment was in disrepair, and the heating/cooling situation made sleeping uncomfortable, but it was just a place to crash. The Upper East Side is a great location.

The location of the flat worked very well for us, and because we were out most of the time, it ultimately suited our needs. However, the apartment did not fully meet the standard advertised on Vrbo. The walls were stained in many places, some areas including parts of the hallway were visibly worn, the kitchen has seen better times, and the cleaning was not top-notch. In addition, the broadband was not working initially, and we had to ask the host for an alternative, which he kindly provided. Overall, while the location was a plus, the condition of the flat could be improved.

The apartment had many problems. Downstairs there was a door leading to a construction site, several defects in the living room, only one set of keys, and the bottom mattress was made of springs that left marks on your back. But the worst part was how cold it was; the windows didn't insulate, and the appliance in the dining room didn't work properly. Imagine how cold it was the two days it snowed. We told the landlord, and he kept giving us the runaround, making excuses but not fixing the problem. After two days, he asked us for two space heaters, but we still suffered terribly from the cold on those snowy days.

Place was a great location! Decent size. Can tell was put together to rent quickly. Wifi was essentially non existent. There was no thermostat, at least from when I searched, it was hot in January! . Neighbors were never there and had a smoke detector that beeped every 30 seconds! Amenities were good, place wasn't the cleanest. Beds were comfy.

The apartment was very warm....we ended up opening windows because it became uncomfortably warm. A on cleanliness and convenient location. The kitchen was well equipped but could use paper towels, dish towel and pot holders. We also had to purchase toilet paper because there was no extra roll in the 2nd bathroom. Maybe also an extension cord for the bedside light that could not plug in and a power strip in the living room so the TV could be plugged in. These are not complaints, just suggestions for future guest comfort. It was chilly so we did not spend much time in the cute back yard...and could not figure out how to turn on the lights that are surely charming in the summer!

This space fall short of being charming, the condition in which we found the apartment was not as it shows in the pictures the front door and light fixture outside is broken so at night there is no light as you enter the corridor there is trash, empty boxes, which made walking in with suitcases difficult. Apparently, from the last review in Sept. the toilet was never fixed it was we still leaking a yellow towel was placed on the floor to catch the water that was not sufficient. WiFi was a NO air conditioning in the bedroom was still broken. window did not open and it was stuffy. There were no curtains on the windows. One of them had a huge hole on the wall, where the curtain rod should go the only air-conditioning unit working upstairs was in the living room that was not enough to cool down the bedroom. The pillowcases were very rough. Almost seems to be made out of burlap, downstairs bedroom We found an unlocked door that led off to this huge space lights were on there’s a lot of trash when I contacted the host. She stated it was safe and that it led off towards the front of the building (how safe is that) there was no way of telling who had access to that area. I was there with two young ladies, and we did not feel safe staying in the unit just the way the whole apartment was situated unattended and neglected it needs a lot of maintenance lots of repairs need to be done for it to look the way its listed in the pictures. Needless to say we did not stay.

This property was obviously a newly listed one. The photos look great from the surface, but there were many unpleasant things about this property.
