Beautiful place and one of the best places on Vrbo we have stayed at and we have stayed at many over the years. Wonderful retreat for those visiting USCGA. Every detail thought thru from the coziness of the design and furnishing. Comfortabe king bed to the well stocked watering in the refrigerator and snacks to even the soaps The host was amazing. Our daughter graduates from USCGA this may we wish we would have found this home away from home 4 years ago. Highly recommend this beautiful home away from home. Thank you.

Everything was perfect for our family of three. The location is wonderful, with a shared private beach across the street, and a larger beach and boardwalk an easy half-mile walk away. The apartment was very clean and well appointed, with everything we needed to cook and relax on the beach. Since we flew in, we really appreciated the use of their beach towels, chairs, umbrella, and beach toys. Dawn was thoughtful, kind, and communicative. We hope to return in the future!

I took my mom to New England for a short vacation to actually celebrate my 60th birthday. My goal was to find something waterfront with easy access to a beach unbelievable location unbelievable host the entire visit. I wish I could’ve extended into a week or two. If you want to stay at a beautifully decorated, Clean and easy access to water. You definitely need to stay at this cottage.

The Lighthouse Carriage House was extremely clean and organized. Dawn made sure we had everything we needed for our stay and more. We loved exploring during the day and coming back to our private beach to relax at night. Having access to the outdoor shower and washer/ dryer was so helpful! Everything in the house was beautiful with updated full kitchen and bathroom. Between the four of us, we slept great on the super comfy bed and pull out coach. The detailed binder with tips of great places to see and restaurants to eat at really helped with making our vacation amazing! Super organized! We also enjoyed the free passes to the Ocean Beach Park Boardwalk. We had a lot of fun family memories at this house and my daughters loved all the amenities and perks. We will be back soon!

Beautifully appointed - not a detail was missed. Quiet location with a view of ferries and boats coming and going. The hosts thought of everything a guest would need, plus more. Made access and information about resources in the suite very clear. Recommend highly!

We love this place

Return guests; we stayed in here in 2021 as our first post-covid summer getaway and returned a few years later! We stay at a ton of vrbos (and similar) and rarely return to the same one twice, so our return is a testament to this great carriage house.Dawn is a meticulous, kind host with great attention to detail. As Bostonians we consider New London a real gem and we prefer it to many MA beach towns for price, accessibility, and laid-backness!

We loved the carriage house! It was so clean and updated well with a well equipped kitchen and bath. The proximity to the private beach was key. Dawn thought of everything too… even providing beach towels, chairs, umbrella and a cooler. Thank you for a restful couple of nights!

Impeccable Property

Beautiful Carriage house with well-appointed interior. Dawn has thought of every little detail to make uus comfortable. We enoyed the adirondack chairs in the backyard and the private beach just a short walk away. This deserves a galaxy of stars for the rating!

Fantastic property near the beach

This over-garage apartment was beautifully appointed and incredibly comfortable. Walk out the door and you are at the private beach in less than 2 minutes. Lovely water views from the living room. The host had so many thoughtful extras like beach towels and sand toys, water bottles in the refrigerator, etc. We wojle absolutely recommend.
