"Beautiful cottage with lovely view of the water and Kelly's mountain the yard was really nice to sit out in the evening and have a few drinks very quiet and peaceful I would definitely recommend people to stay here you would have everything you need close to stores and shopping and gorgeous scenic drives would definitely make you want to book this beautiful cottage "

"This resort has yurts and domes as well as rooms in the lodge. The yurts and domes do not have their own baths. The lodge rooms where we were did. The room had a double bed and a single. The double was quite comfortable, the single not so much. Our room was on the bottom floor. There was a restaurant attached and the option to have a package with breakfast and dinner. Though we didn't have the package we did eat a breakfast and a couple of dinners. The food was excellent. They have music...

" We had a great time at the cabin and enjoyed the view and all the outdoor facilities."

"We wish we could live at Rita’s retreat all the time! Our room was nice and cozy. The backyard is so spacious and peaceful all the way down to the water. The indoor saltwater pool was icing on the cake! Mike was very accommodating, helpful and fun to talk to— I recommend Rita’s Retreat!"

"This is a unique stay on the world famous Cabot Trail. It is a one room cabin, like a treehouse over looking St Anns Bay. The washroom facilities are a short walk down hill the facilities. It is not for everybody. It definitely worked for us! We spent 5 nights of relaxing after the beautiful drives we took on the Cabot Trail. The bed was great and having a coffee on the front deck was a great way to start the day. Thank you to the hosts! Cheers @EddieMac75 "

"This was the perfect place for my husband and I to celebrate our 3 year anniversary and explore Cape Breton. Great location and the private beach was extra special. "

"Quiet and clean but bathroom door has poor lock. Hard to find your driveway entrance due to sign fallen down and no reflective tape marking."

"My son and I stayed here to have a little adventure while we were in CB for a sports tournament. We really enjoyed the location and had an awesome sleep!"

"Good basic house just outside the town of Baddeck. Not really walkable into downtown, but just a five-minute drive with plenty of parking. Open living area, but just a little cramped. Good breeze with windows open to cool down the house on a warm summer day. Would stay again."

"I can’t overstate what a wonderful time we had at this property. We were there for the better part of two weeks and didn’t want to leave - the views of rolling fields and the Bras D’Or were expansive and peaceful; the cottages were super well appointed and exuded so much character; the location was just outside Baddeck was perfect.The hosts were super helpful, friendly, and knowledgable. We truly couldn’t ask for more, and look forward to a return visit to explore even more of magical Cape...

"We celebrated my parents 70th anniversary at Rita's. We had the entire place. This is a very large property and it was perfect for our event. Very clean and well equipped. Mike the maintenance man stopped by to ensure all was good and said to call at any time if we needed anything. The pool was amazing and was loved by all from my 8 month old great grandson to my 89 year old mom. The young adults loved all the room for lawn games and the fire pit at night. Everyone is already talking...

"This place is truly amazing! We were greeted by one of the owners who went over the specifics. He pointed out an eagle sitting in a nearby tree just waiting for her dinner to swim by in the river bordering the yurt. So comfy, quiet and secluded. I would definitely stay here again."
