Quaint on the Comal is a freshly remodeled, superbly elegant, 1 bedroom condo on the Comal River. This condo is the perfect place for that romantic getaway you have been dreaming about. A large picture window in the living room and sliding glass doors in the bedroom look out onto the Comal River. Enjoy your morning coffee and evening wine on the patio watching the river and wildlife. Less than a mile from downtown, you can walk to bars, restaurants, and theaters. Rockin' R River Rides is just down the street for your floating adventures. Or, bring your own tubes and walk across the street to the Garden Street bridge for a relaxing float back to the condo. Historic Gruene is a short 3-mile drive away, and the San Marcos Outlet malls are a quick 15 miles up I 35 for a day of shopping.

Cozy yet spacious, this romantic condo has everything you need. The living room has comfortable seating, a flat screen TV with cable, and free wifi. The fully-equipped kitchen is stocked will all modern appliances, coffee maker, and plenty of dishware, cookware, and utensils for dining in. You'll sleep comfortably on the brand new beautifully dressed king bed and enjoy plenty of room for your belongings in the large walk-in closet. The bedroom also includes a TV. You'll find his and hers sinks in the bathroom vanity and a stunning newly remodeled walk-in shower.

There is an assigned covered parking space for the unit, and the door is equipped with a digital lock that is reprogrammed with a unique code for each stay. No keys to keep up with! Arrive, let yourself in, and make yourself at home!

***Alternative terms and payment arrangements for long-term stays (30+nights) after Labor Day through the Thursday before Memorial Weekend. Monthly rate is $1800. Please email to inquire.

This condo was exactly as described & pictured as far as the inside was concerned. It is a VERY clean, well-maintained & spacious rental. My husband & I enjoyed our week's stay in it very much! Ms Deborah was very prompt in communicating w/me & always responsive. Now, w/that said, the only "issue" that we had, & this is of course, OUR opinion & may or may not concern other renters, is that the patio area is not private. You & the neighbor next door each have your own patio area, but there is no divider between them, so if you're sitting on your patio, & they are sitting on their patio; you might as well become friends, if you know what I mean!! Again, this is not something that is a bother for some ppl, but we tend to like our privacy, & the unit next door was occupied the entire time that we were there. I will also say that the river view is not as unobstructed as it appears to be in the listing, but other than those two aspects, we would recommend staying in this lovely condo.

The apartment is very clean and close to the downtown, restaurants and tourist spots . It has a very clean kitchen, the bathroom also very spacious and clean. The bedroom had a very comfortable bed. I definitely recommend it and hope to be back soon. 5 stars

4th July weekend getaway

Lucky to find this very nice condo on the Comal River ! Condo is very nice and updated. The host was very accommodating. We had easy access to the river and the property was patrolled by security. Would definitely be interested in renting again.

BEST STAY EVER-Highly Recommend

First thing I’d like to say is this condo was amazing! Pristine clean, beautifully decorated, well appointed with anything you could need, the bed was very comfy and the location was perfect! Right on the river. Watching the deer while drinking coffee in the mornings was such a treat. Deborah was the absolute best. Very friendly and she made it clear that she wants her guests to have a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend this condo!

Beautiful Condo!

This was the perfect place for a quiet getaway for two. The condo is incredibly clean and comfortable with a great layout and furnishings. We didn’t tube ourselves, but loved watching the tubers, turtles, and deer from the back patio. We were able to enjoy Netflix and even had food delivered one evening. We hope to be able to stay again!

Awesome location!!!

We loved our stay and plan to go back. New Braunfels was such a fun place---right across the street from Schlitterbahn and the last public exit for floating the river. We wish we had booked more days at this location!
