"Quite simply, Goose Cove Retreat exceeded my (very high) expectations if every way. It is obvious that June and Paul have walked through every room and space trying to anticipate what their guests would want or appreciate and then making sure those needs and wants are provided. From the basket of every size of flip flops for the short walk to the magical hot tub in the trees, or the towel / robe hooks on the tree by the hot tub stairs, or the fresh tulips throughout the home, no detail was too...

"Amazing experience....the trailer was comfortable and served us well. Perched right next to a brook as it tumbles down in to the placid bay, just a short stroll down the hill. Barrey's and Linda's hospitality was warm and genuine. A campfire welcomed us as we arrived and we were invited to a lovely lobster supper the following night.Our fist time in Newfoundland, Barrey and Linda were very generous with suggestions, maps, advice and information. We had an amazing time."

"The check in instructions arrived shortly before arrival, would prefer to receive them at the time of booking. The door that was supposed to be blocked was locked so had to call for assistance. Called two times as did not receive a call back after leaving a message."

"The cottage was beyond gorgeous. New, well kept. They thought of everything. The location was ideal for exploring the Bonavista peninsula. Just up from Tickle Cove, we had an easy drive to Bonavista, Elliston, Trinity and Tickle Cove. Plus the cottage has an unrivaled view of its own. Perfect for our family of 4."

"David and Coco’s place in Summerville is exquisite. They have maintained the spirit of the place perfectly while adding all the amenities you might need. (The master bed is incredibly comfortable. Best sleep of our lives.) It’s on a dead end road in a beautiful cove and so is very peaceful but within striking distance of Bonavista, Trinity and all the other very busy spots on the peninsula.Dave and Coco also give their guests a very thoughtful guide to the house and area. Can’t recommend enogh. "
