We had a wonderful time staying here, it was a peaceful, relaxing getaway surrounded by nature and a beautiful native plant garden. The location is great, just a short drive to the river and also to Grass Valley and Nevada City. The cabin itself was very comfortable and charming with many beautiful details, it had everything we needed. The hosts were also great at communicating. My kids said it was their favorite cabin we’ve rented, we will surely be back!

It was a cozy, quaint space...perfect to get away from the fast paced life. At night you can see so many stars and Libby was responsive to our questions we had. Would definitely book here again!

Clean and neat. I would have liked regular coffee provided. Approaching the property was a bit scary for this single woman. Abandoned cars, containers, mobile homes that looked abandoned. I felt more comfortable when the owner arrived home and asked if I needed anything. I also would have liked a comfortable, clean chair to sit in the backyard

Charming Nevada City Cabin

This cabin is perfect for a stay for a small family or couple. All necessary accommodations are available the environment was so cozy and clean. The host has good communication and was willing to accommodate our dog that recently got hurt right before our trip and our child whom we had to take our trip. The host even offered a Air mattress if needed. This is a highly recommended VRBO and I would definitely stay again at this location!

Very cute little cabin! We loved the decor and feel of the place. One thing that surprised us if that this cabin is actually attached to a house where the family lives. When we pulled up we thought maybe we were in the wrong place because the listing doesn’t mention it being attached to the main house. There were multiple trailers or dwelling units (2-3) and other people living on the property so it seems. We thought it was a stand alone cabin. It ended up being fine but definitely something that should be clarified in the listing. The living space was cozy and the little backyard was very sweet with plants and places to sit and enjoy the nature. One small glitch, the hot water heater wasn’t working on our last day when we went to shower. Not sure what happened with the unit but it beeped strangely and the on demand unit went blank. Overall it was a cute little place and we enjoyed our trip!

Things we loved: Wonderful hosts, very friendly and communicative! Cast iron pans and multiple coffee making methods available for use were a plus! Cool bath/shower. Music players were a fun addition (the old school radio was a hit a with our 9 y/o). Stargazing was stellar! Overall a very cute rustic cabin.Things that could be better: Beds were very uncomfortable and none of us got a good night sleep. Dining table and chairs didn’t work for our small family (we did clean off the patio table and ate outside). Lacking some basic necessities. No screens on windows so we had big wasps? hornets? join our stay inside the cabin.
