Located in Nazaré, this unique forest windmill is a dream. With 2 wonderful bedrooms, guests can unwind in this tranquil retreat. The bathroom is equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and the close proximity to Nazaré and the beach.

Enjoy the uniqueness of staying in a renovated 19th century windmill, immersing yourself in the peaceful forest surroundings.

Nested on top of a forested hill, the windmill location allows you to enjoy the adjacent trails and bathe in nature and also explore some of the best Silver coast beaches, only a few min away.

The space

Our windmill is a unique accommodation that has been renovated and designed with your comfort and relaxation in mind.

It features one kitchen and dining area in the ground floor and two bedrooms and a bathroom on the two remaining floors.

The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, a small fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine and an induction cooker. This area also features a beautiful closed fireplace, which also provides heating in the colder months.

On the second floor you will find one bedroom with a day bed /sofa - this sofa bed has bed mattresses to ensure maximum comfort and it can be set as an individual bed or as a double bed.

On this floor you will also find a Scandinavian design inspired bathroom, with a toilet and a rain shower. The hand washing basin is the original windmill basin that has been incorporated into the new interior design.

The third and top floor bedroom features a beautiful wooden ceiling and a panoramic window with a magnificent view to the forest and the hill.

In the outdoor area, apart from beautiful greenery and vegetation, you will also find a BBQ corner and an outdoor furniture area, so you can enjoy outdoor eating to the fullest, as you watch the wind on the tree tops.

Explore Nazaré, a quaint fisherman's town, known for the biggest waves in the world, the picturesque port town of Sao Martinho and the medieval village of Óbidos. Not to mention the beautiful beaches of the Silver coast

*The windmill is only accessible through a dirt road that runs for about 1km. The road might get rougher during Winter due to heavy rains
Children that have stayed with us absolutely loved the windmill, but need to be supervised due to narrow unrailed staircase and wide window at the top
