I booked this property for a two-night stay, and the full amount was charged to my card. However, on the day of my travel, I was informed that someone else was already staying in the rental on my scheduled check-in date—a clear error on the host’s part. As a result, I was told that only one night was now available and asked if I wanted to proceed with just that. I declined, clearly stating that I would be staying elsewhere and that I was not willing to travel for just one night.I was assured at that time that the situation was understood and I would receive a full refund, as this issue was not caused by me. Unfortunately, my departure day was consumed with scrambling to find a new place—a stressful experience, made worse by the fact that my funds were still being held.I thought the matter was settled until I received another message stating that I needed to cancel on my end for the refund to be processed. This was extremely frustrating, especially since I had already explained that I wasn't staying and had poor reception while traveling. I reiterated that I could not cancel on my end because the host changed the terms of my reservation. I was under the impression that everything had been taken care of.To make matters worse, after my trip, I received a message asking me how my stay was—a stay that never happened. I checked my account and saw that over 70 was still withheld, despite not staying there at all due to the host’s (app) mistake. Plz fully refund my money !!!
