Welcome to Gilly’s Dream. Your home away from home. Experience real Bahamian living in the quiet and safe subdivision of Colony Village Estate. Just off the main artery of the eastern end of the island, Prince Charles Drive, you are within a very short walking distance of a shopping plaza where you will find, conveniently, a large supermarket, Domino’s pizza, Wendy’s, a pharmacy, doctor’s office amongst others. Three minutes in the opposite direction is the post office, the police station, a government medical clinic and a number of churches. At Gilly’s Dream you are less than five minutes away by car from the nearest beach. Frequent buses into the downtown area and Paradise Island (Atlantis) are caught from bus stops only three minutes away. The Mall at Marathon is three and one half miles away right along the Prince Charles Drive corridor. Gilly’s Dream is where you want to spend a real Bahamian vacation away from the hustle and bustle of a resort.
Gilly’s Dream offers you comfortable sleeping for up to eight adults (in beds) with an additional 4 single folding cots. Our “Grand Room” is outfitted with one king size bed and a double sleeper sofa. “Gilly’s” is outfitted with a king size bed and “GrandMa’s” has a double bed setting. Each of these three lovely and well spaced apart rooms has its private bath, flat screen television, telephone and ductless air-condition. The general areas are central air-conditioned. Garage parking available. For groups of 6 guests or less, we are open to negotiating a reduced rate. Approach us!

The house was super clean and spacious and well stocked. Darville was a wonderful host. He helped us with transportation to the grocery stores and to the marina the next morning for which we are truly grateful. We would most definitely stay here again.

MALE! Dovevamo soggiornare 5 notti ma dopo la prima siamo scappati. Siamo un gruppo di 11 persone ma la casa era per 8 quindi ci siamo ritrovati a dormire in 3 nei letti perchè secondo il proprietario avremmo dovuto dormire in letti da campo, una sorta di amache rigide davvero scomode. Follia pura!! Visto che abbiamo dovuto cercare un'altra sistemazione perché questa era improponibile, abbiamo chiesto una parte di rimborso ma il proprietatio non ne ha voluto sapere. Annuncio ingannevole e proprietario disonesto. Siamo vicini alla truffa, non capiamo perchè VRBO, sempre attendibile, si presti a queste fregature

Awesome accommodation

We were welcomed in by friendly hosts into a very spacious house. The hosts were very helpful and any minor issues were dealt with quickly. In general we were very comfortable with our stay and enjoyed coming home after every excursion during our vacation.

Convenient for Moorings Charters

The accommodations were very clean and spacious. Our host Darville was a fantastic host. He was gracious enough to take us to Solomon’s grocery to provision for our trip and the next day he took the 4 of us with luggage and groceries to the marina. Thank you Darville for all you did.

Good value with lots of sleeping room

Super friendly host. We only stayed 1 night as a stop-over on our trip. Little cots were a nice touch to get everyone a sleeping area. Only thing we didn't like was some loud neighbors doing things right out side one of the bedrooms and constant cars with loud music.

Excellent property

Darville was wonderful to work with! He was prompt with communication and easy to work with us. The house is very spacious. Darville was very helpful pointing us to good places to provision for our trip. I would highly recommend Gilly's Dream!

Great, comfortable home

Our stay was fantastic. Darville was a great host. The home is spacious and walking distance to groceries and restaurants. We stayed here to provision ourselves before heading to Palm Cay for a sailing trip. Darville was also helpful at helping us find ground transportation.

Nassau Fishing Trip With Friends

It's a great place to sleep plenty of people. 3 beds with accommodating cots and couches, everything a big group would need for a big stay. Hosts are nearby, willing to arrange rides, and communicative. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Peaceful and relaxing

Darville could not have been kinder or more accommodating. We only stayed at his beautiful home one night and it wasn’t long enough. Everything was immaculate. The house is in a residential area, if you are looking for beaches and nightlife, it might not be the place for you. But if you are looking for somewhere to relax and get away, Gilly’s Dream will be your dream come true.

Great place to stay!

We decided to fly in a day early before our week stay at our timeshare at Harborside Atlantis. We found Gilly's Dream to be perfect for our group and a great value with 3 separate bedrooms, each with their own full bathroom. The house was very clean and stocked with everything one would need for a longer stay. We really appreciated the 5 gallon water bottle that was provided as well as some welcome snacks. The wifi was great, A/C worked very well...we actually got cold and turned it off in the middle of the night. The only thing that could be improved is the mattresses but I'm one who prefers a softer mattress.

A great place to stay.

The owners were the sweetest people. We got there early, and they let us enter the property while they finished cleaning it fro the previous stay. They also brought us a delicious avocado from the tree in the backyard, and made sure to offer us any accommodations needed.

Excellent host. Phenomenal value. Squeaky clean.

Mr. Walkine was a very accommodating host. Check in process was flawless and we truly felt welcomed by our host. The neighborhood seemed very safe. This was the cleanest VRBO I have experienced so far. I would strongly recommend this property and this host to anyone looking for a great value in Nassau for a large group. 12 of us, 6 adults and 6 children were very comfortable here.

Warm and welcoming

Very accommodating hosts. A very lovely couple, they treated us like family ❤ We slept in the grand room, very comfortable, we slept well. Super location, walking distance to grocery store and quick ride to the marina. We look forward to joining Darville and Sam again this Saturday night.

Such a nice place

We originally booked our accommodation at Gillys Dream for five nights. When we missed our flights and our stay had to ne shortened to 2 nights Darville was understanding and gave us a refund. He was accommodating over the number of people staying in the house and the number of children we had. We loved our stay in this house. It is nicely decorated and child friendly. It was particularly nice that there are bathrooms attached to every room. Many thanks to Darville for all the information he shared regarding getting to and from the airport, car rentals and places to see. It helped our stay go very smoothly.
