Billabong villa is a beach-front townhouse in a gated and child-friendly community located in Palm Cay, New Providence, The Bahamas. The community offers tennis courts, children's playground and pools. The luxurious Billabong villa has 4 beautiful bedrooms with 3 bathrooms and will sleep 8. The comfortable villa provides the perfect destination for the vacation of a lifetime!

Billabong villa is 2,200 square foot on 3 floors of luxury offering several amenities that will make your stay more comfortable and pleasurable, including free wifi internet, and a beautiful beach with snorkeling. The gorgeous brand new villa features travertine tile floors downstairs and hand laid wood floors on the 2 upper floors. Billabong villa is air conditioned throughout with central air conditioning.

The master bedroom features a king-size bed, lovely décor and an en-suite bathroom. Step out to the balcony that looks over a beautiful pristine white sand beach and the famous Bahamian waters. There is a second bedroom on the same level and is furnished with 2 single beds. It has its own en-suite bathroom with a shower. The third bedroom on the top floor is furnished with a queen-sized bed and also has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. This bedroom has a beautiful balcony that offers wide views of the beach and the sea. The top floor has a studio bedroom with double bed and a futon bed.

The washrooms are equipped with additional amenities such as hairdryers. The downstairs floor has a powder room.

The living room at Billabong villa is spacious and features very comfortable sofas, lovely art work, beautiful fabrics and tiled flooring. The entertainment system includes a large flat screen offering a wide range of cable tv channels, as well as internet, music The home is also stocked with board games and a small number of books.

The swimming pool at Billabong Villa is a shared facility and is quite spacious, surrounded by an expansive deck. Comfortable lounges are placed on the deck for relaxing after a swim or for simply soaking in the sun. The table and chairs on the rear deck can be a good place for evening drinks or even for a candle lit intimate dinner.

The kitchen at Billabong villa is fully-equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, cooking range, dishwasher and all essential appliances, and has a fresh and bright look. There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer.

Guests at Billabong Villa can simply take a short stroll to the club house and enjoy meals or a drink at the restaurant and cafe.

There is an optional extra fee charged by Palm Cay Club for access to the club amenities. Should you wish to opt in to the programme an upgrade fee is paid directly to Palm Cay when you are at the resort. Payment of the fee will entitle your group to use the club amenities including the member's beach and the member's pool. You can of course use the Starfish Isle beach and pool at any time, the tennis courts, children’s playground, restaurants, café, boutique shop, spa and boat charters without paying this extra fee to Palm Cay. Please contact Palm Cay or review their website for the latest details. As you are directly on the beach you may not require this option, but some may like to make use of it. Be sure to check with the club for further details or any additional activities.

The marina in the complex offers several water-based activities, such as charter tours, boat rentals, snorkeling and much more.

Billabong villa is located 30 minute drive from Nassau's international airport and within 10 minutes from downtown Nassau and Paradise Island. Arrangements for airport pick up to and from the airport can also be made for guests at the time of the booking. Renting a private villa in The Bahamas sounds expensive, but it isn’t and you will be pleasantly surprised by our reasonable rates and quality accommodations.

The luxury villa can connect to a 4 bedroom sister villa named Coolibah Villa, so if you have an extended group or a larger family you can house up to 16 people in these 2 magnificent homes.

A Week In Paradise!

We had an amazing time at Billabong Villa with our two young kids and grandparents. The space is modern and roomy. The beach is just a few steps from the rear patio. The views from the 2nd and 3rd floor balconies are gorgeous! The host, Mike, was kind and gracious and everything we needed we had so we were left to enjoy the villa in peace and quiet. Highly recommend this rental.

Amazing beach property

First let me start by saying the beachfront property does not disappoint! The views are stunning, right on the beach couldn’t ask for more. It’s nice and tranquil without the downtown hustle and bustle. We enjoyed every second of this property. A couple of minor upgrades could be in order the grill wasn’t in complete working order but we made do, and the mattresses could use an upgrade. Aside from that everything was great and as described in the listing. Would definitely return! ,

Location is EVERYTHING

Beautiful, spacious, well equiped condo on the beach, check. Condo close to the cafe, outside bar and restaurant, check. Condo close to the workout facility, check (although there is a cost for the outdoor bar and workout facility we thought it was worth two in our group that excersised to pay the fee). Jet ski, paddleboard and kayak rental right on the beach, check (we rented some jet skis at Paradise Beach close to Atlantis but the units at Palm Cay were superior and Paulie who rented them to us at Palm Cay was a cool guy). Supermarket and liquor store a short drive from the condo, check. Driving on the left side of the road was a trip and you may not need a car but we were pleased we rented one just for our short trips to the store. Worth renting this unit again, check!

Adult Family Vacation

We had a fantastic week in paradise staying at Palm Cay in a villa on the beach!The view and sunrises were to die for! Can never get enough of the blue water and palm tree views!Villa was perfect for our family of six adults, communication was extremely responsive, information provided prior to stay allowed us to determine whether we should rent a car, dinner, options, excursions, etc.!Prior were on point!Fun to see the big resorts while we were there but loved the privacy of Palm Cay!Getting out on a boat excursion is a must!Cheryl’s taxi service was very reliable if you choose not to rent a car.Thank you for a perfect January getaway!

Great Family Vacation

We stayed in two condos next door to each other in the same building and it was the perfect place for a large group.Both units (both owned and rented from Mike) were well equipped, clean and had everything we need to enjoy or stay.The location is perfect and the property is beautiful. Mike was very easy to communicate with and very helpful with providing information about the island. We would love to return!

Perfect Relaxing Getaway

This was the perfect place for a family getaway which included my family of 5, my mother and father, and my brother. The house had plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable, and the wi-fi was very good. The beach access was amazing. There were never any crowds. There were even floats available to use in the water. When we left the beach, we would usually spend a few hours in the pool, which was large and seldom had many people. We rented a car and drove to the local grocery store to cook in most nights. The grocery store is somewhat expensive, but that was to be expected on the island. A few nights we walked across to the Pink Octopus for dinner and/or drinks. The food there was great, too. We hired Chef Everton to come cook for us one night, and that was a fun experience. He let us customize a menu based on his many suggested menus. He was friendly and enjoyable. We also went on a few charters from the Palm Cay marina. They were a little pricey, but were the highlight of the trips. If you go, ask for Captain James! The host was very responsive, helpful, and caring. He sent a great "guidebook" for the house with recommendations for food and activities. He checked into make sure we arrived okay, and would quickly respond to any questions we had. All in all, I would give this house a 10/10 and would definitely rebook for another vacation.

Family vacation

We enjoyed our stay at Palm Cay. It was wonderful to be right on the beach! The house was comfortable for my family. I was there with my husband, our 3 kids, and my mother-in-law. We picked this home because everyone got to have their own bed. The house had some games and puzzles, which we enjoyed. There were even some water and sand toys. I'm thinking they were just left by a previous guest, but maybe they are always there. Communication was good. We received help when needed. We did not choose to pay the resort visitor fee since we were right on the beach anyway. The free pool for this row of villas was marked "Adults only," but it was usually empty and no one ever asked my kids to leave, so we just used it anyway. We did eat at the Pink Octopus restaurant twice and visited the dockside cafe twice. We chartered a boat right at Palm Cay, so it was nice not to have to drive to get on a boat downtown Nassau. We also went to the playground several times and enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. We visited the grocery store close by multiple times (by car).

Plenty of space for kids and adults, incredible views and direct access to a stunning beach, and easy amenities in a quiet—but not dull—community. Amazing communicative and supportive hosts, very much hope to return in the future!

Best family vaca!!

The house was beautiful along with views!! Great place to chill and hang wi th family and or friends! Only things is there is charge to be in the pool and use the activities there which is a minimum of 3 days you have to purchase which is $20 person per day then an extra charge to rent things!

Perfect stay

Lovely unit and just as described. The beach is beautiful. It was really quiet which was just what we wanted. It would be nice if there were other restaurants close by but we knew this when we booked. We just didn’t want to cook and did get tired of eating at the on site restaurant. The food at the restaurant was good. We didn’t rent a car but several of our neighbors did and they had no problems driving. We used Cheryl’s taxi service as recommended by the owner Mike and we highly recommend her company. Top notch. We felt totally safe and all of the locals that we met were so friendly. We would love to come back!
