Cozy, Modern, Safe, Quiet Neighborhood, Minutes From Nashville's Top Attractions

Cumberland Cottage is tucked away on a quiet waterfront street that is steeped in history, with several famous old school Opry Stars living nearby. It's private and safe here. There is very little car traffic so it's great for walking around or riding bikes. We see deer, geese and turkey regularly, and enjoy fishing in the Cumberland River. Just down the street is a very quiet and historic park. It's a special neighborhood with friendly folks. Yet, it’s just minutes from the famous Gaylord Opryland Hotel, Opry Mills Mall and THE GRAND OLE OPRY. Within 4 miles there are over 2 dozen Restaurants & Nashville’s biggest Water Park. Downtown is only 18 minutes away, much closer than 95% of the waterfront homes in the greater Nashville Area. Two great golf courses are within 4 miles, uber and lyft are very familiar with the area, and a taxi service is based only 1.5 miles away.
Once you get here, you may not feel the need to leave. There's a fireplace in the living room and an outdoor fire bowl in the private backyard that's perfect for entertaining or relaxing. If you like to cook, you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen, with all the pots, pans, and small appliances of home. Outside on the back deck there’s a gas grill with a side burner where you fishermen can fry up the day’s catch.

Clean linens are provided on each bed. Cotton bath towels are also provided.

Each morning you’ll enjoy your breakfast and complimentary coffee in the sun-filled dining room, or take a walk down the quiet lane and listen to the birds and the river.
In the evening… enjoy the peace and quiet on the front or back porch. When it’s time to turn in each bedroom has an HD television, the first and second bedrooms sport new king beds and the third bedroom has a new queen bed. If you have a party of eight, two deluxe inflatable twin mattresses are available.

Other amenities include Washer/Dryer, Cable TV, Blu-Ray players, and High-speed WiFi.
All you need to bring is your clothes and your food. We provide coffee and some kitchen amenities. We go the extra mile for our guests and also provide eco-friendly bath soap, shampoo, and conditioner.

Please note: To rent our home, you must be at least 25 years of age.

The house was perfect for our weekend getaway. My husband and I went with our two kids(2 and 5) and Nana. We went for Opryland Christmas and were less than 5 min (easy) drive to Opryland. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The house was super cute and very clean. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms spacious. Kitchen was stocked and had everything you needed including coffee. The living room was cozy and had a fireplace that we used and it was so nice and relaxing. They had a game closet and a big dining room table. It was a great stay. The floors were a bit squeaky, but otherwise awesome place! We would go back!

This property was all it said it was. Great location and very clean. Only thing I would do differently is add some Christmas decor during the holidays. There was absolutely no sign of Christmas inside or outside the home. For most people that wouldn’t bother but for me it did..

Jon is a wonderful host, very responsive & kind. This property is in a great location, close to anything you may want to do in the Nashville area. The neighborhood is quiet. We took daily walks with our pup down the street. We also saw deer every single day. The kitchen was a perfect size & had what we needed to make breakfast each morning.

Everything was wonderful-- clean, spacious yet cozy, modern kitchen, beautiful/quiet neighborhood great for walking and deer watching. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Location was very close to Opry and a welcome escape from (or balance to) the craziness of the city. Lots of delicious restaurants and music venues nearby.

It was a pleasure to stay at this property. The house was cozy, comfortable and clean. The beds provided a restful night’s sleep. The host responded quickly to any questions. The house is just located within close proximity Opryland, the Ryman Auditorirum and Broadway. Some of the railings are beginning to rot and need to be replaced. But overall, this was a most pleasant stay. I would definitely book again if I am ever in the area in the future.

Probably the cleanest rental we've had.Neighborhood is nice and quiet, the only nosy neighbors were a deer family that came by to see what we were doing.Close to The Opry and not to far from downtown.

Great location in a nice quiet neighborhood, just minutes down the road from the Grand Old Opry. Easy access to freeways - a short drive to downtown Nashville. Host was great, house is very nice - we had a great time!

Quiet neighborhood on the Cumberland River.

This is the second time we’ve booked this house. The owner is very responsive to any questions or concerns. The beds are comfy and everything you need is available. Neighborhood is very quiet and lovely. We stayed here for CMA festival. Not a bad drive from downtown and reasonably priced.

Loved this place!

Loved pretty much everything about our stay: the house was colorful and homey at the same time, the neighborhood was really fun to walk in (french bulldog puppies? what's not to love??), and it was so near Grand Old Opry that we beat all the traffic. We were bummed we couldn't figure out how to use streaming service, but owner did everything he could to help-- but we ended up not needing because we had places to go!

Beautiful home in a Fantastic location.

Everything about the stay was great! First and foremost,John is an amazing host. He was easy to communicate with and was instrumental in helping us find a lost phone.I cannot say enough wonderful things about the host.The property is beautiful and quaint in a great neighborhood. The Cumberland River is right there and an abundance of wildlife greeted us each morning and afternoon. It was great to feel like we were in the country and yet less than 10 minutes away from the "city". The house is well-stocked and had all amenities we needed to be comfortable. Fast, reliable internet and plenty of cooking essentials. I highly recommend staying at this property if you want a break from downtown and Broadway and want to relax without being far from anything. Thank you again to our amazing host!
