Not an Estate
We rented a three-bedroom home with a pool to enjoy for 72 nights. Prior to our arrival, the hosts contacted us asking if we wanted to have the pool heated and use the pool during our stay. We inquired how much it would cost for the time we would cost to use during our stay. They quoted a price of 3,800. We responded that we would probably only use it in March as that was when family would arrive for a week's stay. They responded with a quote for 1,200. We told them that would be fine. However, upon our arrival, we were told by the pool service that there was no heater. Another issue we encountered was low water pressure. We informed the hosts about this and they did send a plumber out to check on it. However, nothing was done until one evening we had no water at all. We notified the hosts and at 11:30 at night, 2 repair men came and worked until 2:30 a.m. to get it repaired.There is a cabana inside this residence. Pictures are shown of it. When we inquired about the cabana being locked, we were told that the cabana was where the Mother lived. However, she typically does not stay there when they have the house rented. A week before our family arrived, we received a text saying that the Mother was moving into the cabana. We were not told we were renting a shared residence and had we been told from the onset, we would not have chosen this place.There were a couple other issues, but ran out of space.The worst VRBO experience.
