This property advertised soundproofed rooms as a feature upon booking (an important detail to those who are looking for a quiet stay). When we first arrived, we liked the room but immediately heard the noise on the street, since we had balcony doors. We tried to take a nap but were unsuccessful because of the noise. After notifying the staff, we were moved to a room without a balcony but sealable windows, so it was less noisy, however still not soundproofed. We could hear doors opening and shutting all the way down the hall at all hours of the day, and the front door shutting every time someone came in and out. We had specifically booked this hotel because it was being advertised as soundproofed. Had we known the balcony room was not soundproofed, as advertised, we would not have booked it.
Both rooms had visible mold growing in the showers and bathroom. So much so that you could not have the door closed or else the smell of mold would be overwhelming. We had to take fast showers with the door open.
The best part of the stay was the AC - stays on without auto turn off and cools down the room fast.
The staff was friendly and met us upon arrival, ensuring a smooth check in.
