Privacy and Views on Nantucket Island

Your Nantucket Vacation should be special and memorable. A large part of making that happen is to stay somewhere that is comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable.

This home is a newly refurbished, clean and chic "upside down" beach house in Tom Nevers. 3 bedrooms plus a sleeping loft can accommodate up to 8 guests comfortably. Home features 3 full baths and a large wraparound deck, wonderful ocean views, spectacular sunsets, and an open floor plan. Short walk to ocean, 6 miles from town. Includes beach chairs, sand toys and beach tent. Also, towels and bed/bath linens are kept fresh and new for your comfort.

Nantucket Island, located just 30 miles off the coast of Cape Cod, feels like its own little world. An ideal one, where the beaches are always perfectly windswept, the lighthouses are straight out of a postcard, and life goes at a slower pace. Could it be "the best island in the world"? National Geographic said it was.

You don't even need a car on Nantucket! You can take the ferry over and rent a bike or scooter. Uber and taxi service is also available for easy access to town and other points of interest. CapeAir services the Nantucket airport (ACK) from several east coast locations but mainly from Boston, MA. During the peak season, major airlines (JetBlue, American, United) add routes to/from the island's airport for easy access from New York and Washington, DC. Swimming, surfing, boutique shopping, fishing, and dining on fresh seafood are all glorious ways to spend a week, or a weekend here.

Tom Nevers boasts one of the best beaches on the island and it is a short walk from the house. An outside shower is provided for washing off sand before coming back into the house. The neighborhood is also safe for biking and running/walking to keep up your exercise routine while on vacation.

Lovely weekend in a beautifully nautical decorated home within walking distance to the water. We had our own vehicle on the island which made it so convenient. We are foodies and had done our research of restaurants prior to arriving that certainly did not disappoint. Helpful book filled with everything you’ll need to know at the property as well. Great stay - would highly recommend.

Wonderful Place!

Cool Tom Nevers Home

My husband and I celebrated our 30th year together in this cool Tom Nevers home and our 1st time on Nantucket. The decor is perfect for a luxury beach house and the kitchen was well stocked and made cooking meals enjoyable. The fresh seafood from Glidden's (clam chowder is insane), sandwiches from Claudette's in Sconset (definitely do the bluff walk!), sushi and cocktails at Lola 41, and a walk through the most beautiful historic neighborhood in town were highlights of the week.Thanks for sharing your happy place with us! 95 Tom Nevers is the perfect house to get both the quiet experience of island life and the enjoyment of multiple restaurants etc in town. Absolutely beautiful accommodations and we would love to return next year.

Beautiful home, quiet location

Loved spending a week in this beautiful home. It is gorgeously decorated, with nice touches everywhere. The kitchen is well appointed, the beds are super comfortable, everything laid out well, and spotlessly clean. We received a welcome guide prior to arrival but it was great having a hard copy in the house -- we used it every day (great recommendations for restaurants, things to do, details about the house, etc.). The location was perfect for us, as we were looking for a bit of a quiet spot. Easy walk to the nearby beach, short drive into town (nothing is a long drive, really, but having a car was helpful). The owners are super organized -- very proactive and detailed communication; easy check-in process. Can't wait to go back!

What a great home

My wife and I did a covid honeymoon on Nantucket and stayed in a few places (hotel in Wauwinet, B&B in town, and this place). We wanted a home out of the way that we could just relax in for a couple of days, and this place is perfect. It is beautifly decorated and the kitchen is well outfitted for us to cook 3 meals a day no problem (grocery store is nearby and only a short uber away). The home is very comfortale and we loved the gas fireplace! It is very close to the beach, but we had tropical storm force winds and a lot of rain so we couldn't really explore it. Honestly, we loved that we had an excuse to just hang out in the house for the time we were there. The house has the perfect footprint. We didn't feel it was too big with just the two of us and it can definitley accomodiate a few couples with three downstairs bedrooms nd a well layed out loft with two sepearate sleeping areas with beds. The check-in process was super easy and we were emailed a custom code to use on the electronic door lock. Additionally, we were sent a very comprehensive property overview PDF that outlined check-in/check-out procedures, facts about the property, etc. It was very helpful and even outlined some things to do and places to go. The house is very close to the grocery store as well as the airport. It's also not far from town (nothing's very far in Nantucket). We loved the house and would 100% stay there again!

Fabulous and relaxing home for a perfect vacation!

This house is more beautiful than the pictures! We stayed here with our family of 5 for a lovely vacation in October. The kitchen is great for cooking and family dinners. We used the grill on the porch as well. The bedrooms are very comfortable, and the bathrooms are a great size. The house is very close to one of the beaches where you can see the seals! Highly recommend this stay. It was perfect for family relaxation.

Terrific experience renting this house from the communication with the owner, the set up and amenities of the house, the easy access to the beach, the quiet neighborhood, the air conditioning, the comfortable beds, and the outdoor shower. I would definitely rent this place again.

Girls Weekend on Nantucket

Wow! The pictures do not do this house justice! The house is clean, organized and fully stocked with everything you will need to be comfortable. The kitchen has everything you will need to cook - including a full array of spices. The beds were super comfortable and the sheets and bedding were clean. Since it was the fall and on the cooler side we didn't take advantage of the beach gear or outdoor shower but from what we saw there was everything you would need to enjoy a beach day. The views from the home are amazing and we miss the beautiful sunset we saw each night. The beach is a short 5 minute walk and has a beautiful sand beach. We enjoyed watching the seals that were swimming at the edge of the surf. Donald was a gracious host! He was quick to respond but honestly the house was so amazing and organized we didn't have one problem the entire time. It was the perfect house for a girls weekend get away and we hope to do it all again next year. Thank you Donald for sharing your home with us! Christine

Clean and fresh property with accommodating owner

Very accurate property description. Fresh and clean newly renovated property. Have stayed in ACK for years but never Tom Nevers. Loved the location, close to Sconset and not too far from Town either. Definitely got the far away from it all relaxed Nantucket vibe at this house. Owner is very nice to deal with and accommodated our early check-in request.
