Immaculate & Updated 4BR - steps to Town and Beach.

  • Fresh and comfortable newer home in Town. Features quality appliances, amenities, central air, and heat. The “Spirit of '76” has a top location – steps from The Creeks where kayaking and bird-watching abound, minutes from Town restaurants and shops, and just a short drive/bike ride to airport and surfing beaches that have been voted best in the world.

    First Floor:
    Out front you have a well-manicured yard, 2 parking spots, and colorful window boxes adorned with seasonal color. As you enter the house you are treated to a friendly and inviting, open floor plan. On your right is a cozy, private, and bright sitting room with French doors. You move past this room into a large living room perfect for big gatherings where you can entertain and cook at the same time. A bar with wine cooler compliments the 7-person dining table and sideboard. Kitchen has an Italian Bertzionni 5-burner stove and oven, Sub-Zero refrigerator, Bosch dishwasher, cherry cabinets and white Italian marble counter tops. Laundry room with new washer and dryer is right off the kitchen.

    Enjoy evenings out back on the mahogany deck with bench which features a teak dining table and 6 chairs plus a gas grill. Stone patio and garden are surrounded by privet and fence. The private outdoor shower offers the perfect finish to a beach day on ACK. Four bikes available to use at your own risk.

    Second Floor:
    Master bedroom with king bed, balcony, and large screen television. Master bath has hydrotherapy bath, custom-tiled separate shower with jets, double sinks, and custom cherry trim.

    Three additional bedrooms: 1) queen bed with full bath; 2) two twin beds with a full bath (and tub); 3) single twin bed.

    The entire house is comfortable, clean, updated and fresh!

Perfect family getaway!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Spirit of 76. Amy is a kind and thoughtful host with a beautiful home that truly has everything you could ever need - a close walk to town, nearby beach that’s perfect for kids, a sweet little back patio with a large table for family dining - truly the perfect place for a family vacation. We had a blast!

Great Labor Day weekend on Nantucket!

Great location for downtown & near the water. Awesome harbor views off the master suite balcony :) It was nice they have four bikes to ride around town. And Sayles Seafood restaurant right around the corner was delicious.

Amazing Stay at Spirit of '76

Amy was incredibly helpful and kind throughout the booking process, check-in, and beyond. Her home is absolutely beautiful, and a wonderful place for a group. The location cannot be beat, as you can walk to town, the grocery store, and several restaurants.

We thoroughly enjoyed this place. The living spaces are perfect and the kitchen is comfortable and well-equipped. The house is immaculate. It’s close to town so everything is walkable, but there’s some traffic noise that comes with being in .

Great ACK Location!

We had a lovely stay in this home; it is comfortably laid out regardless of your group size and an easy walk to town when you wish to do so. It is an ideal home base location when you get all over the island as we do and a very clean and comfortable home to spend your down time in. Great water pressure, comfortable beds and the best stocked kitchen we have experienced. Thank you for having us!

Amazing

Awesome location, amenities (we loved the bikes/beach towels/chairs). Kitchen and grill are a perfect touch. Would highly recommend! Amy was super communicative/prompt and kind. So close to town (short walk or bike ride), right near the restaurants/shopping and not far from the beach!

Spirit of ‘76

Terrific house, beautifully appointed in nautical/ Nantucket themes. Bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. All on suite baths which was wonderful. Bikes available and this made a huge difference as Nantucket is a very bikeable island. Also free Wave bus was a plus and stops are close to house.

The Best Weekend Getaway

The six of us came to Nantucket as first time visitors and we can't wait to come back! Amy was great with communication and the house was perfect! We were within walking distance of everything we needed. All six of us enjoyed our weekend and had no complaints.

We loved our stay at spirit of 76!

Everything was perfect for our family of 5 plus my parents for a couple nights. Plenty of space to spread out! The location was ideal to town and the rest of the island. Loved our water views from the master bedroom. Amy was terrific to correspond with. House had everything we needed for a memorable week! We can’t wait to return.

Perfect location and home!

We had the perfect stay at Amy’s property. The place was immmaculately clean and exactly described. It’s the perfect location—short walk to town and local transportation to other parts of town, near a cute little beach perfect for a picnic, and plenty of space to play games with friends or enjoy the salt air in the backyard. Can’t recommend enough! We will be back!

Perfect location and very well kept house

The Spirit of 76 was a perfect house for a long weekend. The house sleeps 7 with 4 bedrooms and was just the right layout for our group. Multiple bathrooms and showers made it easy to get ready and the 10 minute walk into town allowed us to easily walk into town. The house has all the amenities you would need and was very well kept. Amy was a great host and was easy to get in contact with, and provided great instructions and was very attentive. We would definitely book again!
