Take in sweeping views of Capaum Pond and Nantucket Sound from this perfectly situated home. Custom built to take advantage of the surrounding natural beauty while making masterful use of all spaces within the house. Beautiful touches and finishes throughout will provide a comfortable elegance including all modern conveniences. Enter into the first floor consisting of the master ensuite king bedroom with private entrance and two additional queen ensuite queen bedrooms, one with outside deck. A powder room and laundry area complete this level. Continue upstairs to the open floor plan living room with stone fireplace and custom gourmet kitchen with AV equipment and kitchen appliances masterfully built into woodwork and furniture. Second floor deck spaces offer additional outdoor living areas from both sides of this level to dine and relax.

Incredible Views

Two decks bookend this home, one with a more prominent view of Nantucket Sound and Capaum Pond, the other, a sliver of the Sound, and sheep! Not all the time, of course, but we loved having a glimpse of them when they grazed in the pasture beyond the fence. The other positive to the separate decks is following the sun, or avoiding it, you have the choice all day long.The house felt like a beautifully decorated ship, all beds and furniture extremely comfortable. We enjoyed two weeks on island with two of our three grown children, and sighed every time we looked out at the views. If I had to make a complaint, I would say the water pressure in the showers was a bit too strong. But, that's definitely better than not enough. We would absolutely stay here again.

perfect views, every time you walk up the stairs.

we had a wonderful time even though during our stay the weather was pretty interesting with High-winds and rains. In the living room, looking out over the views of the ocean and seeing the whitecaps in the storm on the water just made it absolutely perfect. Didn’t mind being inside for all those stormy days.

Nantucket 2023

House was perfect and exceeded our expectations. Offers some incredible views, not too far from town but also is somewhat secluded from the busy area. Very clean and well decorated to fit the venue.

Metal Deer Fencing with Rust

This property looks beautiful in pictures but when you arrive there is metal deer fencing everywhere and it is rusting. It really takes away from the quaint cottage feel. I asked the owners to please remove it as it is not in the images listed but they would not do so. The interior of the house is as shown and very clean but the exterior was not as well maintained. There were cobwebs on the exterior lanterns at the entrance and in the corners of the entrance area. The front door was also dirty. The view of Capaum Pond is beautiful but the deck itself and outdoor furniture is not well maintained. There is also not an outdoor or indoor dining table. The housekeepers were lovely and cleaned very well.

These views!

The home is beautiful and updated. The location is great. But the real star of the show is the view from the property. Whether you are on the front porch looking over the pond and the ocean or the back porch enjoying the sunset, the views cannot be beat.

Capaum Pond

We had a wonderful time at the Capaum Pond house. The house is very clean and updated, and the upstairs is terrific with the two decks facing out in opposite directions giving beautiful views of the Pond and ocean on one side, and the lush vegetation on the other. This is a very peaceful and comfortable home and we expect to be back in the future.

Beautiful waterfront home in Nantucket

Gorgeous views of the harbor and Capuam Pond. Great location near town but very serene. The house is in impeccable condition and very comfortable. We enjoyed being near the bike trials and within walking distance to the beaches. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had. Definitely will he coming back!
